Sunday funday visiting loved ones in Magical Vermont⛄️ oh such a fairyland❄️

Warm colors on a cloudy winters day can bring a smile and a bit of sunshine in any place! Only 6 more weeks until spring!! Wrapped and ready to ship!

As the fall sun fades and the winter solstice is upon us, take a moment to breath, take count of what is good and let go of all that is not. May light bring hope and peace to many one and all this season.

Finally got the dahlias dug, washed, divided and stored for their long winters nap! Still wrapping things up here but checking off the long list of what is still to do!

Before the rain… another rockin’ harvest of Lisianthus! Fabulous! We will have bouquets and bunches on the stand Sunday!

Our hearts go out to all in Maui!😔💕 The majestic Banyan tree in Lahaina and such wonderful people…I am glad we were able to experience it all last December.

Just a tunnel with tomatoes and the parasitic wasp taking care of those tomato horn worms.. Ok I know some find them disgusting but they serve a purpose…we’ve planted a lot of sweet alyssum around the farm that helps to encourage the beneficials like the parasitic wasps!! The beneficial wasp can control hornworms because females lay eggs under the caterpillar’s skin, after which the eggs hatch and larvae feed on the hornworm. So more tomatoes for us! Tomato season is here… always starts slow and then! 🍅🍅🍅.

Happy Thursday! It’s been a busy spring and now it is summer! And on the longest day of the year… we started harvesting Cucumbers! Wow such a bounty on this little space! Grateful to those that enable us to tend this land and grow and share! We are open! See ya soon!

🆘One of our founding farmers experienced a significant fire last night, Migliorelli Farm. The farm has insurance, but many supplies needed for the growing season have to be replaced immediately. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

* PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above- ground pipes to protect them from freezing. &&

Check… plants covered with frost cloth, put in the tunnel with sides down, in the cold frames with blankets to keep cozy and anything else too sensitive yet has been back to the kitchen table! Jeez.. gotta love Mother Nature, farming on any scale reminds you to stay alert, listen to the wind and trust in your proactive efforts.. The rest is up to her!

Yippee! Woo Hoo!! Yup Just another shipment from came today! Unpacked and looking amazing! They take such care in all they do! Thank you Farmer Bailey! We’ll be planting out soon adding to the many flowers and veggies hardening off in the cold frames! #

Looks like the garlic is coming along! A real sign of spring has sprung. Removing the straw to help each begin their journey and the cycle begins!

Everlasting flower creations are coming to an end and it’s time to prepare the barn for the next season! 👨‍🌾👩‍🌾 Last of the dried wreaths and bouquets ready to share and now you can see the floor again! Oh and we need another table for seedling space in our basement grow house🤣

No room at the inn!!! It’s always interesting and a bit of a challenge for those of us without a green house to start your seedlings! But somehow we always find room! Onions, shallots, beets, kohlrabi, cauliflower, snap dragons, foxglove, eryngium, lisianthus….. ok too many more to name but you get the idea! From Seed to Soil to your Table we look forward to another season!!! Woop woop!!
