A place to place my art and artistic adventures for all to see
That “upcoming project” I was talking about is starting to take shape! These bits and pieces will come together to make an insect/garden bug themed mobile. ☺️🫶🏼😍
Stay tuned! I’m still trying to find the best adhesive for felt on felt stickage. Suggestions welcome!
In progress sketches for an upcoming project. Drawn from photographs, but it feels good to stretch my drawing from observation skills a bit.
Trying something new…jury is still out.
Decided to pick away at this old thing today. It’s one of those pieces that has been kicking around my studio, in one form or another, for years. Maybe I’ll finish it one day 🤷🏻♀️ but I still have no idea what it’s supposed to be.
Most adorable studio assistant “helping” with a new project in the works
I did it. Finally!
I recreated a senior year bookmaking class assignment from college.
It was supposed to only take a year to complete but instead it stands as a reflection on the last four years of my life, and the world around me during that time. The is complete! 🫂
PS: If anyone has any thoughts on how best to document each and every page of the book please let me know.
Hermes doesn’t make a terrific book weight, but he is cute! I’ve been rebinding the pages of my altered book and now I’m reattaching the cover. It’s very exciting and nerve wracking. Four-ish years of work all comes down to this…
…well, and then probably another few days/weeks of fidgeting with the final pages.
In early June I went to Alberta, CA on a family vacation. It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful place! I took hundreds of photographs that I look forward to sifting through and painting from. This one is only the first, I’m sure lol

Real quick post-D&D, pre-dinner painting session. 😊 feeling the
Spontaneous cat painting! It feels more like a sketch and I like it.
Good thing I only need one hand for this ! 🥰🥹
The final page in progress for the altered book! I’ve chipped away at, and fussed over a few other ones that are otherwise done, but this is the last one I’m truly working on.
Then I’ll just need to figure out how to rebind it all together! NBD 😂
Saturday studio and Saturday studio assistants. It’s been a wild spring with consuming many conscious hours, but we’re all (humans and animals both) starting to settle in quite nicely. Shout out to my peerless partner, Josh! You are a bulwark of support and an amazing pet-parent; calm in the face of puppy-panic, loving, patient, thoughtful, and kind. You take it all in stride and remind me that we’re in this together.
A few years ago I made place cards for my family’s Passover Seder. This one was my favorite.
More messing around with acrylic paint. The dead flowers are familiar territory (throwback to the project from a few years ago) but I’m still getting a feel for the medium.
Love is so many things, and one of those things is this:
Love is exposing what is innermost to your soul with an expression of outermost joy. Happy Valentines Day to everyone, and remember, the most important person to love in this life is yourself. You’re worth it, and you’re enough exactly as you are.
and my is my idea of how to spend Super Bowl Sunday. At least until the halftime show! ❤️❤️
Messing around with acrylics.
Throwback and cheers to these sassy ladies in one of my favorite commissions from the last few years.

Drawing in progress, and a studio supervisor.
I’m pretty excited about some interesting new materials that I got today! …Hermes is still skeptical though.
I made a tiny owl!
Sundays sometimes involve multitasking. And by that I mean completing another page AND cuddling a
I hope your Sunday is as comfy as mine -says Hermes 😹
Ok, now the page feels done.
