Second book of 2023 is finished, which gives insight into a man’s soul. If you’re a Christian man, I encourage you to read this book. It explained a lot for me. One of the best books I’ve ever read. ✝️📕

The Super Bowl is this evening. I wish both teams and players well. I don’t remember the last time I watched one snap of an NFL game. I played football through High School. Love the game. 🏈 It’s the most fun to play. But, when professional athletes first started kneeling for our 🇺🇸, and the NFL looked the other way, there are implications such as losing fans. Countless men and women sacrificed their lives for our Country. The least we can do is to stand, to be quiet, and to show some respect.

First book of 2023 is finished, which is a classic by Og Mandino. I read this one years ago, but it was great to read it again. 📕

Happy New Year! #2023

Fourteenth book of 2022 is finished. My goal this year was 12. First time reading the Bible cover to cover. I like this format because it keeps you on track. Each day, there are sections from the Old Testament, New Testament, Proverbs, and Psalms. I may or may not read this one again, and may read a different one written in order. If you’re tired of all of the lies and confusion of our world, and want the truth, I recommend this book. It’s one of the only things that makes sense to me anymore. ✝️ 📕

Thirteenth book of 2022 is finished. The book was written to be read one page per day to reflect more on each daily meditation. I enjoyed it, and plan on going through it again this year. 📕

Twelfth book of 2022 is finished. It’s a book written by a Holocaust survivor who shares what he went through and how he survived the concentration camps. He not only could have avoided captivity altogether, but chose to stay. He also could have emigrated after his release, but chose to stay. Each for different reasons. Remarkable story. May we never forget about the Holocaust. The biggest gift we can give both Viktor Frankl and ourselves is to find the meaning of our own life. It was his life’s meaning. 📕

Eleventh book of 2022 is finished. It’s a book that tells 50 different stories about Fathers, written by their children. I’ve been called a lot of things. Some of it is true, some of it is not true. The best name I’ve ever been called is “Dad”. 📕👨‍👧

In between matches at IBJJF (Chicago), waiting to compete for 🥇. I only had one thing on my mind, which is doing what I have to do to win the match. Let’s all approach our weeks the same way, focused on what we need to do to win.

Tenth book of 2022 is finished. It’s a book that statistically compared 11 great companies against similar comparison companies. The findings showed exactly what made these companies great. Somewhat of a more difficult read, but understanding these concepts can benefit anyone. 📕 📈
