The Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) is the most widespread species of swallow in the world, occurring on all continents, with some even reported in Antarctica! It is a distinctive passerine bird with blue upperparts and a long, deeply forked tail.
Barn swallows are aerial insectivores, which means they catch most of their prey while flying. They prefer to catch one large insect at a time, rather than several smaller ones. Also, they can feed their young and drink water while still flying! (As pictured)
Barn swallows forage in open areas, such as agricultural fields, beaches, suburban parks, and ball fields. They often follow agricultural machinery to catch insects disturbed by the work, or forage around livestock. They can also be found over open water, such as lakes, ponds, and coastal waters.

A couple months ago I had the amazing opportunity to make toffee bars for Mr. And Mrs. Coyle’s wedding party! Over the course of sampling thousands of nuts at numerous markets across Cleveland, one of the biggest requests I get is “Do you have these in a larger size?” 😍 Which I totally understand, because if you have tasted any of our Candied Pecans or Cashews, the 3oz bag is simply TOO SMALL🤪 Lol. Thus the Jars were created😎

I had a lot of fun this afternoon at the stadium🐶🐶 One step at a time, we will become the Official Toffee Bar of the Cleveland Browns woof woof🐶🍫

So I’m sitting here doing my shift (an amazing place to find all the local goods you need) and I’m absolutely starving😩 I have not eaten all day, classic. And I’m craving something sweet, also classic. So, I figured it was time I tried . I’ve been staring at these puppies 🍩 for a couple weeks now just waiting for the perfect time to strike, and let me say, I am not disappointed. This donut 🍩 was about the size of my head and everything you’d want it to be. Soft, fluffy like a pillow, and covered in chocolate ow owwww😆😆 If you find yourself these donuts are must try. The nostalgia is almost priceless☺️

Exploring some pairings for Jeff’s English Toffee Bar😋 Strictly for business purposes of course 😉😉

So far, I am really enjoying how the pungent, mesquite smoke of the cigar contrasts the sweetness of the Toffee. The smoke seems to make it almost creamy. Also, paired with the double oaked bourbon you can really draw out the Vanilla.
