Kester Photography

Went to the Cleveland Zoo to do some photography for this summer. I like going out every once in a bit to see the changes they make. It was very hot, and you can tell in the pictures the animals were trying to keep cool too.

Did some Photography for my science teacher wife Michelle Kester who wanted this event 2024 Eclipse documented in stages for her class.

I got great news today in an email from a photography contest I entered this photo in. I won an honorable mention award. they said' "Congratulations KesterPhotography! Your photo just grabbed the Ignition Award. It really highlights how much you've grown and how creative you are in photography. Just by sharing this one picture, you've pumped up our team and pushed us to make our product even better. This was an event I was hired, by Playbook Sports, to do photography for. It was at Rocket Mortgage arena Downtown Cleveland. It was for Youth Basketball around Cleveland. It was a good time of sportsmanship and the love of the game.

A few days ago, my wife and I were working on our new Life together. All our marriage we were parents and worked on raising our kids. These past few weeks the last two moved out and onto adulthood. My wife and I are building this future together and I for one am excited about it. We started It off by going up to the Terminal Tower Observation deck. I lived in Cleveland for 50 years and I never been up here once. It was a great time. A beautiful look at our great city Of Cleveland Ohio. We had a great lunch at this Italian Pizza place. It was a good day. I look forward to the rest of my life with you my love. Every day is new to me when you are with me.

This is a photoshoot I did for my Father-in-laws Birthday. We went that weekend to Stoney Creek Acres Farmhouse in Newbury, Ohio. We then spent the night having our party with some wrestlers from Mega Wrestling of Ohio at the Captains game that got rained out. That farmhouse I will very much recommend. it is very homie, an old barn transformed into a BnB. so many farm animals around. It was fun.

Went to visit Sandy Ridge Reservation and hike around. I had a great time enjoying the wildlife and photographing them. It is so peaceful to get out there and just Marval in nature. I really had a great time with this family of blue and white stokes. They were very friendly.

Lately I have been doing many photo restoration jobs for customers and found much enjoyment in it. If you have and old family photos that are in need of work call me or send me a message. Went to Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve Wednesday to walk around and do some nature shooting. It has been a bit that I have got out and did my photography. It felt good to get out in the wind and quiet of nature. There is no subject to this shooting. I just went on a walk. I just felt like walking.

This is a photography shoot I worked on this week called In the Frame. What in the frame is a way of filling the frame with a shooting subject. Here I wanted to capture my Guitars, the wood grain, the inlays, the strings and the general streamlined shapes of the instrument.

This Is a photo shoot I did for a family friend Joe and Lisa Marullo. They wanted me to do a photo shoot for their daughter's 1st birthday. It was a wonderful fun time and a great opportunity working for some good people.

This is my final for Individual Projects in Photography class this semester. It was a project where we had to take pictures of crowds of people in the hustle and bustle of the day. I choose to go to the West Side Market for two days and just photograph people going by shopping. It was really kind of peaceful.

I have been working on this book for the better part of a year. In this photography book it covers birds of prey native to Ohio. It also covers how they live, the evolution of raptors, and the trainer's that take care of them. Have a blessed day, and enjoy this glimpse into my book.

As of late I purchase the new Canon Wild Life camera EOS R7 and I am loving it. It takes such sharp pictures. I had fun taking pictures at my bird feeder with my telephoto Lense.

I been doing a ton of Nature Photography for my protfolio and I wanted to upload a few to get your opinions. I Need to keep 6 of these to repace non animal pictures in my portfolio. Any advice would help.

My wife and I took a trip to Chicago to visit my Sister-in-law Shannon Fox. We visited the Chicago Brookfield Zoo were I had a chance to do some animal Photography. It was a massive Zoo.

This Summer I took some time off from taking classes till I take my final Four classes in the fall semester. This way I can work on what my professors have recommended, my style in photography, or find one. Since my animal photography and photo editing got such good reviews, that will be my focuses. Yesterday I took my son John Kester and Grandson to the Cleveland Zoo to do some work for the day.

this is my final I just finished called Somewhere in Time. In the project we had to recreate a photo from the past of anytime. I chose the 40s my favorite time era. Here I had my to great models Ian and Alexcia Ambroz to help me out on the project. I had to spend several weeks tracking down remakes of 40s cloths.

Waiting at the Playhouse to see The Officer and the Gentleman. I love all the history they have on display around the Playhouse. I had to take a few snapshots.

Every year since I was a kid my dad and I would go to the I-X Piston Powered AutoRama. This year we had a guys day with all the guys in the family. It was a blast. We always looked forward to the show. It was a good time hanging out looking at old hot rods. My favorite was the old war dogs vehicles, bringing back memories from my Army days.
