Cleveland Musicians’ Fundraiser Announcement

CLEVELAND – July 21, 2024 – Due to the major global IT outage that affected the airline, bank and broadcasting industry last week and as the airlines struggle to recover for the third straight day, the Cleveland Musicians’ Fundraiser Team is sad to announce that this year’s special guest, KISS guitarist, Bruce Kulick, is grounded in Las Vegas and unable to be a part of tomorrow’s “You Wanted the Best” KISS themed fundraiser in Geneva-On-The-Lake.

“I am heartbroken to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I am unable to travel to the North Coast for my appearance at the “You Wanted the Best” Cleveland KISS charity event supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. I want you all to still enjoy the day celebrating KISS and know that I will be there with you in spirit. I look forward to hearing how much was raised by all the amazing KISS fans for the Alzheimer’s Association.”

Those that paid to take part in the Bruce Kulick meet and greet will be fully refunded. Fans in attendance will still have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets to win the electric blue, ESP Ltd M-1 ‘87 electric guitar signed by Bruce. Anyone that purchased a meet and greet who wishes to transfer their refund to raffle tickets for the guitar will receive an autographed event poster via mail.

The Cleveland Musicians’ Fundraiser - 8th Annual “You Wanted the Best” KISS Themed Event benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association will take place Monday, July 22nd from 12:00pm – 10:00pm, at Goblin Amphitheater 5482 Lake Road E Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio and will once again feature over sixty musicians from Northeast Ohio.

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

The event, which is open to all ages and free of charge to attend, is a day of music, highlighting the talents of over fifty musicians from across Northeast Ohio. These resolute artists volunteer their time to bring an unforgettable experience for all in attendance. The festivities include continuous live performances on three stages, food vendors, auction items, raffles, and face painting. The event concludes with a special tribute performance honoring the iconic music of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, Kiss. The organization is hoping to exceed last year’s attendance of over eight hundred.
