Our next Junk in the Trunk will be on Sunday, September 8th at 3pm in the parking lot of St James Lutheran Church Cleveland Ohio LCMS 💛

Shoutout to all the givers and takers who keep us going all these years 🩵

We will be accepting donations of sealed candy up until this event. 🍭

Thank you all for coming together to make this a fun event for the little ones in the community. 🍬

Shoutout to Old Brooklyn Social and The Cleveland Winery Vino Veritas Cellars for making this all possible with us 🤝 💛

Shoutout to the nursing home that donated some leftover items they had in storage. This includes pillows, sheets, blankets, depends, etc. for anyone that is interested in shopping this truck of free items this evening, please join us at 7pm at Walters Grove Park 💛🤠

We’re keeping an eye 👁️ on the forecast ☔️ and hoping for sunshine ☀️ on Sunday at 3pm for “Junk in the Trunk #104” at St James Lutheran Church Cleveland Ohio LCMS 🤠

Thank you to The Cleveland Winery Vino Veritas Cellars for allowing us to host our “Back to School” giveaway in their parking lot this evening. 🌅

It was great to see the kids attend and leave happy with some new supplies in preparation for a new school year. ✏️ 🗒️ 🖍️ 👕 📚

All items offered were donated from the community in hopes of helping another family. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies, uniforms, books, paper, etc., and made this all possible. 💕

We appreciate everyone that showed up and found something that they could use. 🛍️

We will see y’all this Sunday for our last Junk in the Trunk for August. 🤠

Upcoming events:

Wednesday the 14th at 7pm we will be in the parking lot of The Cleveland Winery Vino Veritas Cellars with our “Back to School” event where we will be giving kids the school supplies that have been donated from the community ✏️ (school supply donations are still being accepted)

Sunday the 18th at 3pm we will have a Junk in the Trunk event in the parking lot of St James Lutheran Church Cleveland Ohio LCMS 🛍️

We didn’t plan on doing a back to school giveaway, but the wonderful members from Junk in the Trunk - Neighbors Helping Neighbors started donating school supplies to us last week. If anyone would like to donate school supplies, book bags, lunchboxes, or money to purchase items, please message us asap and we can get these things organized to giveaway. We don’t have a lot now but we want to do what the community is asking for.

Thank you to the members that provided supplies to get this started, it is very much appreciated 👏🤠💛

Shoutout to all the folks that came out to do some giving and taking with us this morning. ☀️

Thank you to the members of Junk in the Trunk - Neighbors Helping Neighbors that donated grits for the animals and human food for the food box on the corner of W. 41st and Memphis. The pig and goat loved the grits and most of the food got rehomed at Junk in the Trunk and leftovers were taken to the outdoor food box. 💛

Our team has grown with family and friends and we are so thankful for all of the help to pull off this massive celebration today 👏 👏

Thank you to the many members of our free group Junk in the Trunk - Neighbors Helping Neighbors who donated money, toys, candy, treats, drinks, and their time today 💛

What an impressive group of kids we had today 💕 the parents should be very proud of the way they behaved and were helpful to the mission 💕

From our teenage face painters and craft table volunteers to the tiny ones that helped stuff the 3 piñatas. 🪅 🪅

We were so thankful to have this amazing group of kids with us today.
