Join Care Alliance in recognition of Black History Month 2024 as we celebrate the many shining examples of among our own outstanding staff and leaders, like our Director of Nursing, Ms. Marilyn Pringle, MPH, RN.

Marilyn has been a registered nurse for 24 years and has cared for our patients at Care Alliance for 8 years. While at Care Alliance, her model of excellence has led to her promotion from Charge Nurse to Director.

Marilyn was inspired to care for others following the tragedy of losing her sister to heart disease. We are grateful for Marilyn’s work educating patients on healthy living and eliminating health disparities as a leader here at Care Alliance Health Center.

Throughout this Black History Month, Care Alliance celebrates among our own outstanding caregivers and staff. In February and all year long, we are proud to provide excellent care for our community.

Meet Selina M Rose, our Employee of the Month!

As a Patient Services Representative, Selina brings her friendly personality to her work at our front desk every day as she as she greets, schedules and checks patients in for appointments at Care Alliance Health Centers.

All of us who work with Selina at are very fortunate to experience her cheerful and kind spirit as she performs her work with seemingly unlimited amounts of positive energy and joy.

Our Community Health Workers and HR teams both had a great day providing information on access to health care and employment opportunities at Care Alliance. Care Alliance CEO Dr. Jones was proud to attend the recent Heart & Stroke Ball for the Greater Cleveland Division of the American Heart Association as a Member At Large for their Board of Directors. Especially in the communities we serve, we must do all we can to help eliminate disparities in mortality rates for heart disease and stroke in African Americans, which are 20% higher for heart disease and 40% higher for stroke, compared to rates in Whites. Care Alliance CEO Dr. Jones enjoyed connecting with local youth sports coaches and families last week. As a former athlete who knows the importance of sports physicals, he was happy to offer our mobile clinical services as a convenient way for athletes to complete them. After providing tours of our mobile medical unit, Dr. Jones and local coaches discussed opportunities to partner and bring the unit directly to their teams for physicals. We look forward to serving their needs and helping kids to stay in the game.
