I am honored to be a part of the 20th Annual Bryn Du Art Show. Enjoy this closeup sneak peek from my accepted painting. I’ll keep this piece under wraps until the show starts. A fun perk for those able to attend opening night!
This show runs March 1-23. I look forward to seeing everyone’s work, and to sharing with the public my latest work, and most personally meaningful to date. Words can’t express how deep this painting went for me and I can’t wait to share it with you.

A speedy exit but make it art.
In Vegas for the last stretch of a work month. It was interesting to be so exhausted in the opposite of my comfort zone. I focused on making real connections with people and that helped. Then my cozy humble abode and lover welcomed me back with a sigh of relief and I slept for 12 hours.🏚️👩❤️💋👨🛌 HomeSweetHome
It’s joyfully surreal to paint a portrait on my flight home, then walk by my art in the airport! 🎨🛬🖼️
I’m happy to finally share this piece - a surprise for my nephew. It’s based on a beautiful day in October when my parents had their apple butter festival. We each take turns around the fire stirring the kettle. My nephew had his own shade from the sun.

Cold weather is not my jam. But our last crisp fall hike by a powerful waterfall gave me some energy.

A painting I did for fun this fall. A young buck we spotted on a hike.
During focused studio time, I needed a mental break so I painted something peripherally related to the my larger work.

Throwback Thursday to the last live concert painting I did this summer! How fun it was to paint Paul from the Swamp Rattlers.
When painting live I use strong brushwork that reflects the music and energy of the audience. This was the perfect way to close out the summer concert series.
Next I’ll post a clip from that concert, then the final painting.
