Full Job Description
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and willing to learn all aspects of commercial door and hardware installation and maintenance. This job will entail working as a part of a team, and sometimes on your own at customer job sites and in our warehouse. Different technical aspects of the role will include welding, grinding, cutting (metal and wood), attaching hardware to the doors, installing frames and hanging wood and metal doors. The candidate must also be able to make calls at our customer’s facilities and businesses in a company van. As such they must meet our driving insurance minimums listed below.Candidate must:

Ideally have 1 year of basic carpentry experience in a service-oriented position.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Be familiar with local and surrounding areas.
Must have a reliable vehicle for transport to job site and/or warehouse.
Have the ability to load and unload heavy items. (Up to 100 lbs is preferred)
Possess excellent customer service skills.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Be able to work well with team members.
Have the ability to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Pass a background check.
Meet our driving insurability minimums. Some of which are:
At least 21 years of age
Valid, active Driver’s License (CDL is not required) (not suspended)
Clean/acceptable Motor Vehicle record for a history of 3 years (as determined and defined by our insurance company)Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Yeahhhhh! It's the weekend. It's been a busy week and for short ti.e things will be quiet..... but don't worry Monday will come and we get to do doors and hardware again! We are busy as it gets as spring rolls along and the jobs just keep coming. Just a few quiet pictures of our warehouse and shop..... don't see them like this unless it quitting time

Well for Cleveland Vicon Installers, I dont know if there ever was a better job that we did than Iolani in Honolulu Hawaii. We do a lot of crazy things sometimes and have been all over NorthEast Ohio and beyond. We have done doors and hardware for Playhouse square apartments all the way to schools in Columbus and Hospitals in East Liverpool,Ohio.
