A big shoutout to the wonderful Mr. Bob for helping to build Leah’s CLC literally from the ground up! On this day 4 years ago Leah’s CLC opened its doors to the public. However, all of this would not have been possible without Mr. Bob’s dedication to the vision which started 6 years ago with a meeting with starting point and pre licensing training. Since then, Mr. Bob has worked tirelessly to remodel the school, advocate for our publicly funded families, and most recently completed 40 hours of trainings to help aid the autistic students in our building. We are so grateful for all that he does and continues to do for the community Leah’s CLC serves. ❤️

Hip Hip Hooray!! 🎂 It’s Leah’s CLC 3rd year Anniversary!!! THIS POSTING IS LONG but worth reading!! 😊

Many people throughout the last few years always ask us why our school is named Leah’s CLC. We’ll to be honest I din’t want to write Leah’s Creative Learning Center on checks and you also know Marisa is not Leah and Abby is not Leah or our daughter.

25 Years ago I told a friend that if we ever opened a school, it would be in honor of his daughter Leah. Leah was challenged as a child and as a result always struggled with school and learning. Leah’s parents where thrusted into always trying to find the right school for Leah that was safe where she could learn and grow. Why is this important? We believe all children should be able to attend a school that is safe, loving and a place where they can grow. We wanted to provide a place where diversity was embraced, provide support for families, and engage children in purposeful learning.

So, as we celebrate 3 years being open, we want to thank you for joining us on this journey you are the heart of our business. There are many people to thank along the way. Rick Wheeler and Leslie Bell from Key Bank that work with us on getting this funded. Rose Waag, Ken and Sylvia Lutke for helping us fund and set up initial key areas of the business. Special thanks to Melanie Adriance for all the hard work you put into helping us set up our school’s infrastructure and foundation for state licensing. Abby our assistant administrator who day in and day out keeps us glued together! Andy Mason our technology advisor without your help and knowledge we would not know what to buy! Last but not least special thanks to Ed and Debbie Fagan for giving this project life when construction was stopped dead in its tracks. Thank you! Gracias!!
