Happy Memorial Day!

The office will be closed for the remainder of the day due to a power outage. Power should be restored by tomorrow. Advanced Animal Emergency clinic, located behind us, is also part of this power outage. CLOSING EARLY! Due to appointment cancellations and inclement weather we will be closing at 2:00 pm today. We will resume normal business hours on Monday. We hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend!

Little Foot is back home and recovering from surgery. She was having some supervised time without her cone yesterday. ❤️

Today is Little Foot’s big day! She is getting her surgery done to fix her ACL tear. Wish her luck!

Little Foot’s big adventure to the specialty hospital was this morning. She has a confirmed ACL tear in her left knee. Her surgery is scheduled for March 5th.

Our poor clinic cat “Little Foot” injured herself overnight. She tore her ACL in her left knee! This is a pretty uncommon injury in cats. She is currently enjoying good pain medications, laser treatments and cage rest. We of course are giving her lots of extra pets and snuggles. Dr. Reagan will be taking her to BluePearl in Southfield on Friday for a consultation with a surgeon. Please wish her a speedy recovery.

We have received many questions regarding pet food and the safety of pet food products. We stand firm in our recommendation of brands that we trust and would feed our own pets. The brands we generally recommend to our clients are Purina, Royal Canin and Hill's Science Diet. There have been many unfounded claims that Purina foods are causing illness in pets. There is no scientific data to support this. If you are a client of ours and have any questions or concerns regarding the food you feed your cat please reach out to us.
