Stopped in at North Gratiot Cruise with the Lincoln

Olds Cutlass SX Build: Exterior completed photo's. replaced the front fenders, and rear deck panel. Added the 442 Hood, rear deck lid Spoiler and sport mirrors. The complete exterior was stripped. Once the bodywork was completed, we refinished it in House Of Kolor Sunset Pearl. Then laid down the black stripes to finish it off. Then all the exterior trim was replaced, including a fresh new vinyl top to give us this completed project.

Olds Cutlass SX Build: Interior, we removed the complete original interior. Installed all new interior components. Which included customs made leather trim panels, rear seat to match the Procar front Rallye buckets seats. And added a Dakota Digital gauge cluster. So, when completed we still had an original looking interior, with just a little added custom touch.

Olds Cutlass SX Build: Suspension, we installed Ridetech complete air suspension system for 68-72 GM A Body. This kit creates a modern drivability with an ultra low show stance. This package contains front upper and lower control arms, spindles, front Muscle Bar, rear Strong Arms , and 4 HQ Series Shockwaves. Then we added Ridetech's A-Body Steering Kit, and finished off with the RidePro X air management system.

Olds Cutlass SX Build: Powerplant, first we removed the factory Olds Rocket 350, and then installed a Dart Race Big Block 555 C.I.D. Heads Air Flow Research. Intake Edlebrock Ported/Polished by Wilson Manifolds. Carb Holley 1000CFM HP. Transmisson: 4L80. Just a few of the major components put together to turn this Olds Cutlass into an Oldsmobile Rocket! Then added a Vintage Air system to attempt to keep this beast cool for those summer cruises.

Check it out! One of our more recent completed builds. This 1970 Olds Cutlass SX came in for a complete restoration with multiple custom modifications. We have been busy in the shop. And have not had time to post build photos on current projects. So, check back on this build. Over the next week, we will post build photos along with completed photos of this 1970 Olds Cutlass SX !

Come join us tomorrow for the Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise. We will be at the southeast corner of 16 Mile Road and Gratiot, at the Mclaren Macomb Medical Facility. This event will include a car show, a Food Truck vendor row, along with a Family Fun Zone and much more for the entire family.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP GRATIOT CRUISE UPDATE!
We just wanted to let everyone know what's up for this year's cruise. With our very own Chris Ustick sitting on the cruise committee, we have teamed up with the Clinton Township Cruise organizers and will supporting them at the Cruise Headquarters Show / Event located at the southeast corner of 16 Mile Rd and Gratiot.
We will have about 25 VIP parking spots available on the grass along Gratiot Ave. Along with our normal vendors that attend every year. This event will have a Family Fun Center, Car Show and Food Truck Vendor Row. Along with a DJ and other events threw out the day for the entire family.
Our VIP spots will be available on a first come basics. We will accept pre-registration for our VIP spots. Email us at [email protected], put Gratiot Cruise in the subject line. Include your name, contact info and a photo of your ride. We will send you a confirmation email.
Once our VIP spots are filled, there will be room in the car show area, for any and all overflow. But there will be a $20.00 entry fee into the show area. Where you will be able to be a part of the show and events threw out the day. Everyone is welcome!

All setup for the RSL Car Club show

Come check us out at the RSL show this Sunday

We are having our 4th annual car show this Sunday June 23rd at the Rusty Rooster Saloon. The show starts at 10am and ends at 6pm. Registration goes from 10am-1pm. Entry fee is $20 and is open to all makes and models. There will also be a Lowrider bike display area and a Redcat display area. Prices to enter either one will be $15 per Bike/Redcat. Tickets will be available for purchase for the 50/50 and basket raffles. Food and drink will be available for purchase all day. There will be a Limbo contest and live D.J. Awards ceremony and Raffle drawings will take place at 4pm. Come on out and enjoy some sweet rides, good food and good people.

Who's ready for some Pre-Cruise Car Shows? Our first of four official Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise Pre-Cruise Car Shows will be held at Hennessey’s Pub + Kitchen on July 18th from 5pm-8pm.
