Boy, our girl Liz Klemme Darga is everywhere. She helps in the community in so many ways. So proud of Liz.

Our meeting tonight was held at Restore for Macomb Habitat. We had a service project helping Habitat with coins! And then we had a speaker from A Kid Again. It sounds like a great program. Check out the website.

Today we had Superintendent Kenneth Janczarek from Clintondale Community Schools speak to us on the new things they will be doing for our students for 2024/2025 school year. If you have children school age, check them out!
Come and check us out also. We are always looking for more volunteers for our projects to help families in Macomb County.

Good morning! I have a family that just got a new home! They are in need of things to furnish that home like blinds, microwave, dishes, towels, dish towels, broom and dust pans and dressers. If you know of anyone that has any of this stuff please let me know! Thanks!

Clinton Valley Kiwanis tries to be very community active. Our recipient of the Clintondale schools scholarship is below. Our scholarships are not huge, but they have helped folks that would otherwise not be able to attend college. If you’d like to learn more about what we do and be active either by doing community service with us or donating to our cause, reach out and let me know.

We had such a wonderful time at the Macomb County Habitat for Humanity women’s luncheon. The speakers were phenomenal, food was very good, and just a wonderful event. Clinton Valley Kiwanis was happy to represent ourselves. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity and the great meetings.


Clinton Valley Kiwanis presented Clintondale Schools with books for their libraries at all their schools today. Thanks Barry for organizing this! 💚

This morning we assembled 40 birthday bags for children living at Turning Point. It’s a great feeling to help children enjoy their birthdays. 🎂

Last night at Giuseppe’s Restaurant, we had Jen Herd from Love Bigger speak to us about a 'Charity Marketplace' for downsizers. Check it out at lovebigger.com and see if you might have 'stuff'!
Come check us out, either for breakfast at The Pantry or dinner at Giuseppe's. We meet for breakfast on Thursday 8AM at The Pantry and the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 6PM at Giuseppe's.

Thursday we installed our new members, Gloria. Welcome, Gloria and thanks for jumping in with both feet. You are already being a plus for our Gratiot Flag Project! ❤️🇺🇸
We also pulled our last literacy raffle for this ticket. We are selling new ones for literacy 200 that starts in May and goes through April. Let us know if you need any tickets!

Children nestled in beds, visions of hope in their dreams,
Kiwanis members worked tirelessly, stitching love into seams.
With hearts full of kindness, their spirits so bright,
Spreading joy through their actions, in the soft glow of night.

The moonlight danced on the snow-covered ground,
As volunteers moved silently, without making a sound.
In shelters and kitchens, on streets cold and bare,
They offered warmth and comfort they shared.

The moonlight revealed, on each member’s face,
A commitment to service, a compassionate grace.
Kids need Kiwanis, the message so clear,
In the service of children, with every volunteer.

In schools and communities, where laughter rang clear.
Kiwanis members planted seeds, spreading hope near and dear.
They mentored and guided, inspiring the young,
Shaping futures with care, like a song softly sung.

Through projects and programs, a difference they’d make.
In every small gesture, a difference at stake.
With Kids Need Kiwanis echoing clear,
In the hearts of the members, a mission sincere.

With service as their anthem, leadership as their guide,
Kiwanis members walk with purpose, shoulder to shoulder, side by side.
No monuments rise, no statues stand tall,
Just the steadfast commitment to serve the children one and all.

What a great meeting we had this week at Giuseppe‘s! We officially added three new members. We received our check from Flame Furnace for the contest that we won. It was so much fun with lots of laughter and good conversation. The food was superb as always. Giuseppe‘s treats us so well they gave everyone in attendance, a free cannoli dessert. Can’t say enough about the restaurant. If you’d like more information about what we do, please reach out to me.
