Consistency is crucial for nurturing the development of neurodiverse children and teenagers. LLK provides a variety of services in a given location, minimizing travel for parents and ensuring caregivers can effectively collaborate in meeting each child’s specific needs. This summer ignite your passion and excitement for technology at LifeLab Kids Summer Social Groups!
Designed for children and adolescents with disabilities, these tech groups are tailored to certain social skills such as learning how to be a team player. Students will also be introduced to computer science and computational thinking in a fun and interactive way. All these skills are helpful tools in shaping school readiness behaviors and more.

Jackie’s favorite part about being an SLP is seeing her clients’ unique personalities shine during sessions and being able to witness their day-to-day growth!
She received both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Grand Valley State University and has been working at LLK for about 18 months!

Meet Kylee Keller!
Kylee enjoys being a speech therapist at LifeLab Kids because she can work with diverse populations and establish a special connection with each client.
She graduated from Central Michigan University
and completed graduate school at Midwestern University (AZ). She is a trained clinician in Natural Language Acquisition.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Meet Rubina Sama! Rubina has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 15 years. She obtained her masters in Occupational Therapy from Wayne State University. Rubina chose her career path because it allows her to focus on helping children achieve their goals, improve their daily functioning and engage in meaningful activities despite any physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.

Meet Amy Dobine! Amy loves to think outside of the box. She graduated from Davenport University in 2016 and has been happily exploring a variety of occupational therapy settings across generations from toddlers to the elderly. Amy strives to see her clients succeed in whatever goals they have for independent living skills.

Parents Night Out is finally here! Friday, April 26th from 6-8pm at LifeLab Kids Ferndale. Enjoy an evening out, while your kids are in great hands! Kids will enjoy a fun filled evening that includes dinner and activities such as game night, silent disco, and a short movie. RSVP is required in advance and there is a fee for service of $15 per child to cover the cost of activities, food and staff. Spots are limited so RSVP no later than Friday, April 12th. Parents check your email for RSVP link.
April marks , and we are excited about the upcoming events at LifeLab Kids this year! Our celebrations include spirit weeks, special visits from our local police and fire departments, and a Parents Night Out to honor the hard work of all our parents and guardians.
