👏👏 for our August Athlete of the Month, Cass! If there was the prefect quote to describe Cass, this would be it! “Hard work is the relentless pursuit of your goals, powered by dedication, discipline, and the willingness to push through challenges, even when it’s tough.” 💪
1. August 2022, I’ve been trying to lose weight since 2021, and Planet Fitness wasn’t doing it for me, so I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.
2. Speed and Agility/Burst - I like to push myself to see how fast I can move.
3. My favorite thing about Burn is probably how proud it makes me of myself. I would also say that it’s completely changed my lifestyle/routine.
4. My advice would be to show up and push yourself every day. You’d be surprised how quickly your lifestyle will change.
5. Honestly, I’m pretty proud that I can get up off the floor without using my hands now. Also, 2 foot box jumps!
Hard work means showing up every day, giving your best, and never quitting - and this is exactly why Zada is one of our August Athlete’s of the Month! 💪
1. I joined Burn Boot Camp in July of 2019 looking for a lifestyle change rather than a temporary solution for weight-loss.
2. My favorite protocol days are lower body and full body strength days.
3. What I love most about Burn is the group fitness environment but still having the 1 on 1 support from the trainers throughout the workouts.
4. The advice I would give to someone trying Burn for the first time is to start small, build up to your goals gradually and set realistic expectations. It’s easy to get discouraged by comparing yourself to others, everyone is different so listen to your body and work on meeting your goals at your own pace.
5. One thing I can do now that I couldn’t do before joining Burn is lift heavy weights. I was always intimidated before but joining Burn has helped me build up the strength to do so.
