He has been my main mount for the past year and I do hate to see him go. This guy is athletic and honest. Has mainly roped in the branding pen and outside.

This weekend was such a great experience at the EXTREME COWGIRL CHALLENGE. I am very proud of this team that was randomly thrown together. I wanted to go with a group of women that know what the western lifestyle is and who were looking to push themselves out of their comfort zones.

I want to give a big shout out to Kayla Lee, Garrett Lee, Katie Hammack and Chris Hammack for holding down the home fort. Thank you to Sue Murphy for coming and supporting. Hunter Marie Hull thank you for jumping into this endeavor with me! Bailey Monnahan, Makayla Jones and Chantry Hoskinson for comprising this team!

Three of us were on colts and two of us were on good ol’ fashioned using horses. Much was learned and none of us got bucked off!

Lastly, thank you to Hight Performance Horses!! You helped me not look like a total idiot! Bri and Clay were there to guide me through a world that I am very green in.

Side note, I was the only one to sleep in a tent 😂

Stepping way out of this ranch girl’s comfort zone!!! Mustache’s fearless leader is competing at the Extreme Cowgirl Challenge in Leoti, KS! She is riding her 3 year old fire breathing dragon🐲, Henry. This is a first for both Tayler and Henry! Here’s to the first show for Mustache!!🙌🏼🙌🏼Their team, Hodge Podge Hussies is made up of a bunch of fun gals who wanted to challenge themselves and laugh a lot!

Outside of this world, people maybe don’t realize how important a horse is to what we do. Here is a mare that let a cowboy drag for the first time since a double aortic dissection. Let her man and partner get back to what he loves to do. That is what we are in this business for! Horses can be the best of us. They put up with the worst of us and will join us in some of the most well rounded moments of our life.

Here is a tribute to the ranch horse. The unsung hero of the horse world. Gritty and know what a bottom is. Love their feed time, but understand it might mean getting caught to go work. Is it always flashy and glamorous? Maybe not, but the job WILL be done.

I did not make this horse, but someone else dang sure did. Her and her partner in crime are a reminder of the confidence that a good horse will give you.

Wow, someone has to talk to the woman in charge and tell her to update y’all more regularly!

We have been heavily in spring works and are chipping away at our ponies! Here is a little glimpse of the days we most enjoy!!

I have to say, I am so lucky to daywork with some incredible people and I am totally humbled to have this set of spurs made by Jake Marshall! I can’t wait to take them for a spin.

Hello all! I have this 16yr old gelding looking for a new home! He has good handle and would make a great step up horse for a handy kid! This man has plenty left in the tank and would be a great addition to a string. He is not a beginner horse but he is dang sure gentle and wants to please!

Day of the horse you say?? When I say my lifestyle would not be possible without them, I mean it! Blessed to swing my leg over these hairy boogers everyday. On the worst days, you can take a deep whiff of that salty, warm smell of horse and it seems to bring you back where you need to be. Thank you to all the ponies and people that bring me ponies!

This chilly weather makes me think all the way back to last Friday when fall was with us! 😂Thankful we cleared out our mountain pasture before this all settled in!

Henry is up for consideration! I am in no rush and will be firm. This young man is about as neat as they come. It pains me a little just to think about letting him go! I will make sure he is going to a place that will continue to make him into a Cracker Jack. Read below for info 😊
