We are waiting on the celebration of the first coming of Christ but always looking forward to the second coming of Christ. We must have HOPE that God is always with us and will guide us. 🕯️

The Holy Father grants plenary indulgence to mark the 800th Anniversary of the first Christmas nativity scene by St Francis of Assisi at Greccio.
To benefit from this special privilege, go to any Franciscan chapel or church and pray at the Christmas crib placed or set up there from December 8th to February 2nd, 2024 and follow other requirements for receiving an indulgence such as being in a state of grace, have received the sacrament of reconciliation, say the creed, one Our Father, One Hail Mary and Glory Be for the Holy Father’s intentions.

Happy feast of Blessed Carlo Acutis! 😇 🇮🇹 👟 ⚽️ 💻 🕹 🙏 He was born in 1991 to a wealthy non-religious Italian family. As a young child, he had a precocious interest in Catholic practices; he attended daily Mass and went to confession weekly. Carlo also loved playing soccer and video games, and eating Nutella and ice cream. He practiced temperance, voluntarily limiting himself to one hour of video games per week and scheduling his favorite treats. In 2002, at the age of eleven, he used his computer skills to create a website dedicated to cataloging every reported Eucharistic miracle in the world. Completed in 2005, it’s available online at www.miracolieucaristici.org. He died a year later, at the age of fifteen, from leukemia. His mother credits Carlo’s holiness for her return to the Catholic faith, and for what she considers to be the miraculous birth of Carlo’s twin siblings, four years after his death, on what would have been his nineteenth birthday.

Happy feast of the Guardian Angels! 🙏👼 As Catholics, we confidently believe in angels! Jesus speaks in the Bible specifically about our guardian angels, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). Each of us has this powerful intercessor, all to ourselves, looking after us on earth and advocating for us to the Father in Heaven. God told Moses that when we die, our guardian angel will be there beside us as we make our journey into eternity (Exodus 23:20). We can all remember and honor our guardian angel each day, especially by saying the Guardian Angel Prayer: Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
