I understand pain. I understand frustration. I understand being disregarded, disappointed, disgusted, and frustrated. I’ve been so angry and I’ve been sad. I get it. Whether it’s pain, or weight or inflammation or just feeling awful- you have to make yourself a priority and move beyond the barriers. At Emerald Key Wellness we understand, we relate and we know how to make realistic, sustainable changes….But you have to make the choice to take that first step. Let’s do it together. 💚

Spending a week in the Keys is just what I needed. ☀️It’s a time to rest, relax, reflect & recharge. I remember being down here a few years ago, feeling awful… exhausted, unmotivated, grumpy, sweaty, sad, and extremely frustrated for feeling that way. 🥵After my fifth & final endometriosis surgery in 2022 and finally getting my hormones, vitamins and thyroid balanced I have a whole new perspective this year. 🙌I’m truly thankful. It is still a daily effort… with getting my sleep and my steps, avoiding the inflammatory triggers and trying to keep my busy life together- but it’s such a great feeling to realize that at 45, I am the oldest I’ve ever been & I feel better than I ever have. You can age with grace. You are able to feel better, you just have to make yourself a priority. 💚

When I say I LOVE MY PEOPLE. I mean it. The ones who support, encourage, help….the ones who make me laugh, who motivate and who trust in me. I mean it with my heart, I am so thankful. This was a truly special evening for me and for my office. Having Amanda by my side has been so impactful to me and to so many others. And having our sweet Amara with us, has just been the icing on the cake. My heart is so happy and hopeful. And though I may not have all the answers, I promise you we will give all the effort and THAT is why we are different. Thank you all💚

I was sad to hear about the passing of Richard Simmons. 🥺I remember Sweatin’ to the Oldies with my babysitter when I was little. My love of working out and laughing had to start there. 😆I transitioned to Jazzercise in the basement with my sister, the Buns of Steel VHS tapes and then the Cindy Crawford workout video and so many more…. Now I still love all the Beachbody & Fitbit workouts right from my phone. My point is… I learned a long time ago that movement was not an option for me. When I don’t, I am miserable and grumpy. You won’t always be motivated, so you have to be dedicated. Whether it’s a walk, a run, a strength workout or a sweaty dance session- make it something you enjoy doing, the benefits are physical, mental and emotional. Love yourself enough to get up and move.😊💚🕺🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️🚶
