Mark did a great job as well.
I think it’s helpful to log home owners to get a clear visual of what we look for when we assess your home.
And to understand why we do what we do.
Restoring a log structure is labor intensive, it requires many different skill sets.
Our main objective is to preserve your logs, bringing the decay to a stop.
The products we use, and the measures we take, do just that.

The guys are crushing it down in Alabama!!
Picture on the left was before, picture on the right is after.
What you don't see is the EXTENSIVE rot that was repaired to get us to this point!!
Personally, I really like the colors the owners chose, the Mortar White Log Jam from really pops!!
Now going forward for the owners, with their choice of using Sashco's Capture/Cascade system, this home is going to retain this beauty AND protect the logs from rot for YEARS to come with only minor maintenance!!

This problem wall got 9 refaces and 2 tails.
It had been improperly ‘repaired’ by a previous contractor that did not correctly prevent future rot.
We removed the rotted repairs and properly treated the replacements.
There is more to log refacing than just putting in a new log.

And it begins!!
The 2023 season kicks off with a 5 truck/5 trailer caravan from Wyoming all the way to Arab, Alabama! 30 hours of travel, 1,700 miles one way!! Our hard working crew makes it happen!!

Mark & Mary spent the week in Denver at Sashco, Inc. attending another Zero Failures class.
Mark taught the application/hands on processes of blasting, staining and c***king.
Students are given test walls to learn the proper methods used in log restoration.
Since Mary is already a c***king expert, she jumped right in and helped teach how to c***k.
Zero Failures is the most comprehensive log home restoration class available in the United States! The 3 classes for 2023 are already sold out, but start looking for 2024 dates if you want to learn these skills!

Mark is pretty humbled to be the face of Sashco’s Flex Tint promo cover, but I’m (Mary) am pretty proud of his hard work and efforts in this log home restoration industry.
He is passionate about the correct methods to preserving log homes and his pursuit of endless research and constant learning of the best possible methods has brought him to where he is today.
He is Sashco’s application/hands on instructor at Zero Failures school, where they teach home owners, contractors and product reps the ins and outs of bringing log homes back to their original luster!
Mark loves what he does. He loves being able to use his expertise and experience to teach people what he has learned over the years. (Think dinosaur lol)
