After a successful 2024 season, a group of ranch family took a return trip to Damnation Basin. The reunions between places and people were all that we hoped for. It is the most special of places!

Mountaineering over the years at Elk Creek is a constant focus. We often hear, “I never thought I could do that.” The joy in their faces when they reach the top or final destination says it all!

The ranch had some special guests over the weekend to help trim the horses before summer shoeing and burn some wood piles before the creek starts to flow. Some fun was had too!

Irrigation is one of our morning work crews, some argue maybe the best! It’s hard to beat the view in these fields! Or the cold water on hot summer day!

The Trout Peak Trail is a ranch favorite, with the possibilities of both peaking multiple peaks and reaching a favorite campsite in Damnation Basin. We wonder where everyone will want to journey this year?!?

The Second Session overnight to the Beartooths is a favorite!
