The 50/50 winner came forward with their ticket and advised they prefer the entire amount collected be donated to Cale Wenning’s family. They wish to remain anonymous. We cannot thank this individual enough for their kindness and generosity.

This act of giving, along with this wonderful community’s ticket purchases, private donors, donations from TwoDads and RCO to GO, combined totals over $1,600 to be donated in Honor of Cale to his family.

Again, we cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible turn out of the CDMA Fall Kick-Off and the wonderful generosity displayed by all.

Look forward to seeing everyone around down town and to next year’s event.

Here is our 50/50 winner from last night's Fall Kick-Off event! The winner was not present at the time of drawing. You will have until 12 noon on Monday, August 26, 2024, to claim. If the winner does not claim, 100 percent of the 50/50 drawing will go to the Family of Cale Wenning.

Small Town Sublimation and Macedon Tool and Design will be sharing a space for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village! 👏🏼

Alexis, owner of Small Town Sublimation, and is a mom of two. Sublimation is a process of printing that involves a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto another material (usually polyester or polyester mix) with a heat press.

She will be offering clothing (such as Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies), Tumblers, Car Coasters, beaded wristlets, keychains and pens. She also makes homemade all natural Body Butter, Sugar Scrubs, chapstick body butter sticks and more!

Macedon Tool and Design does CNC plasma custom design signs, tools, and production parts!

Ben Heyne, spray paint artist, will be joining us for the Vendor Village from 12p - 2p to showcase his skills at creating paintings within 10 min, all done by spray paint and miscellaneous materials!

Ben was born and raised in Coldwater, where he still resides with his wife & 4 children. Ben has always had a natural talent with art, and he loves to experiment with different mediums. A fun fact that many don’t realize is that Ben is partially color blind, which makes his paintings even more amazing!

Ben started to spray paint around 10 years ago. He has showcased spray paint art at Mercer & Darke County Fairs, Country Fest and he is a favorite for St Henry’s Creative Arts Day! ❤️

Be sure to watch him create beautiful paintings from 12 - 2p on Friday, August 2! 🎉

Spoons & Stones will be joining us for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village! 👏🏼

Hannah Thees is a metalsmith from St. Henry who specializes in jewelry made from vintage silverware, sterling silver, and gemstones. Each piece is one of a kind based on the many different spoon and fork patterns. By cutting out the intricate designs in the silverware, Hannah is able to create really unique items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

Hannah loves to create custom pieces from clients' heirloom silverware. Turquoise, Jasper, Opal, and Moonstone gemstones are also often added to Hannah's designs and she gets a lot of inspiration from the southwest. ❤️

The Timber Grove will be joining us for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village! 👏🏼

Brandi Remaklus is the proud owner and creator of The Timber Grove! She has been a member of the Coldwater community her whole life and still resides here!

The Timber Grove was created in 2020 as a fun project to work on in between Brandi’s college classes. She has always loved design and crafts, so she decided to make a business out of both. Brandi enjoys setting up at craft shows where she can display her new, creative items, every season. ❤️

In Brandi’s free time she is a very proud aunt of her nephews and loves spending time with them! If you check out The Timber Grove page, you might be able to spot some super cute supporters in the photos.

Amber Temple ART will be joining us for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village! 👏🏼

Amber recently moved back to her hometown of Coldwater. She has four children: Corbin, identical twins Damion & Donovan, and Emersyn. After graduating from International Business College with an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Amber worked at two local print shops before deciding she wanted to be a Freelance Artist / Graphic Designer. She creates mixed media paintings as well as design t-shirts, collages, tombstones, logos, wedding invitations, business cards, and more! Amber also designed the new logo for Coldwater Community Picnic!

Amber has always been driven by art. As a little girl she enjoyed coloring, drawing, and doing arts & crafts projects. Her dad always told her that God paints a picture for us every morning and every night, so take the time to view the sunrises and sunsets. Still to this day, she is inspired by nature and all the beauty it has to offer! ❤️

Dax+Ivy Children's Boutique will be joining us for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village! 👏🏼

Vicki Topp opened Dax+Ivy in 2019 by her daughter, Callie. Callie has since left the area to pursue her doctorate degree in psychology, so it’s just Vicki running the show now.

Dax+Ivy is a baby and children’s clothing boutique located in Celina. They love helping to dress your kiddos in timeless, high quality, adorable clothing! Vicki has loved getting to watch all of the families grow over the years. Many have become like family to her!

Fun fact that most don’t know about Vicki is that she also owns a counseling practice in Celina. She loves both of her careers! ❤️

Author JL (Jeremy) Wenning will be joining us for the CCP Sidewalk Sales Vendor Village!

Author JL ( Jeremy ) Wenning resides in Coldwater with his wife, Vickie of 25 years, and daughters Brianna, Lauren, and Daelynne. For 23 years he owned and operated Subway in Coldwater and other area stores, which he sold in 2023. During that timeframe he was a volunteer for Coldwater EMS for over 12 years. His career took him to Grand Lake Health where he is the current Director of Food Services.

Jeremy started writing as a stress reliever many years ago and his writings have blossomed into 20 children’s books and 8 young adult to adult novels. He enjoys writing and hearing feedback from his writings. He enjoys going to events and festivals to promote his books and looks forward to sharing with the community! In his spare time he enjoys gardening, canning, movies & spending time with his family.
