Are you interested in pursuing a Master of Extension Education? Join us via Zoom for open house on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 5:00 PM. The Master of Extension Education features a multi-disciplinary program with core courses focused on the principles of Extension: needs assessment, program development, evaluation, and social science research methodology. Students also select from a suite of supportive elective courses in a variety of Extension specialty areas. Graduates from the Master of Extension Education degree program are prepared for dynamic careers in secondary and post-secondary education, non-profits, government, and leadership roles in enterprise. DOE Grants $2.6M for UMD-led Study on Genetics of Plant Growth to Support Biofuels Associate Professor Gary Coleman from the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland received $2,573,263 from the U.S. Department of Energy to investigate the genetics underlying how poplar trees sense nutrients and regulate their metabolism.
