I've been painting something other than just hair these days!
I had no idea I even knew how to mix colors but then remembered I do it everyday 🤣🤣

Yes girl, I feel ya.

Wowzers! This came out looking like silky chocolates. More dimension is on our way this year. I'm seeing boldness in color contrasting and it's so fun!

More examples of what I've been doing the past few weeks. It has felt good to do so many transformations lately.

Ok time for some hair. This was a neat color because she had colored her hair pink during quarantine and it all faded out except for the roots. So I added blonde in with it at the root to break it and brighten it up. She wanted get existing blonde brighter so I used an icy and violet glaze and it made some of the new highlights a little lavender 😅 Luckily it worked for the better because it gave a blushed, n**e color. All was well!!!

Nice place to have a peaceful mid day snack at work.
One of the things I learned during quarantine is to stop and listen to the birds, take time to smell the roses (so to speak).
We all have the tendency to worry about how our lives are going to play out but what good does it do to worry? If we could only follow what the scripture is trying to tell us...

Now that things have settled from the post-quarantine rush, I'm going to start sharing a little more of me, my work and my life. .....
During quarantine I learned to live a little more. I laid in my yard and people watched while enjoying the warm Texas 🌞. I've enjoyed being with my family and animals, made new recipes, organized my home, and dabbled in some painting!....

Love talking to clients about animal stories. This gal has 3 dogs. One that keeps eating all their clothes. A co- worker was just telling me the same thing. Why do some dogs like to literally eat everything?
My dogs don't eat clothes but cat p**p is always on their mind.

Anyway, I love my job. Good conversation and good hair.

Ginger ....... This time of the year reminds me of gingerbread. I've already made sugar cookies, so now I need a good gingerbread recipe.

I placed two colors in this gals hair
For the holiday season. A soft buttery blonde and ginger to match. The best part is the darker will softly make it's way out without creating a fuss. No harsh lines. By the time it fades, the blonde will be brighter and she can easily transition back to a brighter look.

It took me a minute to remember how to do an infinity braid. I had to look it up on YouTube at the last minute. Folks, it's okay to have a brain fart every once in awhile. We are only human.

Yes, I did this.

I could say so much about this. Instead of emphasizing on the actual color I used, I want to talk about hair integrity and the steps we took to preserve it. was key to getting to the place we did in just one visit. Granted it took 1/2 the day, but with a little time and patience, we accomplished more than I could have thought.
20 years of box dye folks!

Now that our canvas was clean we as with to get a strong even lift and went in-between the foils with . Topped it all off with and finally got from 4inches old light brown and about 6 more inches of old dark brown with gray roots to this....

Holy schnikeys this turned out pretty!
We started with turquoise and dark roots and used it's a n**ey blush blonde.

We added soft Balayage highlights and a few lows for dimension. She's a mom of a baby so low maintenance is key. A little by really did the trick. It fights very well against humidity and we are definitely having a lot of that here in these days.

The piggies love her hair!

When you have massive amounts of hair and want to keep fullness and to still be considered having long hair, this is an excellent style to consider. These layers are perfect for the Hollywood beachy wave too.

Bright pieces look great on gingers. Instead of covering that beautiful color, try ribbons of blonde like she did.

If only I could have the perfect base like this for a natural looking balayage. So jelly...

The one and only Ms. Dianne from her hair is a perfect canvas for my White blending hair color.

This woman has been an answer to my prayer. When I moved here, To have someone older and wiser than me who fiercely loves Jesus and doesn't care what people think. She goes 💯 strong, always focused on the bigger picture.
Young women, you need a Dianne in your life.

A little Balayage for her first time getting a hair color. I highly recommend especially when you've had a chemical service. This is a keratin oil that leaves the hair with an incredible softness.

Bluebonnets are blooming. Makes me so happy!
