Clockwork is looking to add an Assistant to our team

__Description__
In addition to normal duties of Clockwork Staff such as retail sales and event coordination, Assistant-level staff are generally under the direct supervision of one of our Specialists. The Assistant aids the Specialist in their tasks concerning a specific department of the store. Because of this, Assistants need to have more specific and specialized knowledge of particular games or genres of games.

- $10-$10.50/hr after probationary period depending on experience ($9/hr during 3mo probationary period)
- 30-35hrs/week

__Minimum Qualifications__
- Customer Service experience
- Dependability
- Teamwork
- Communication Skills
- At least 18 years of age
- US Citizen or Valid Work Visa

__Preferred Qualifications__
- In-depth knowledge of Trading Card Games, especially Pokemon and/or Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Familiar with hobby gaming industry and its manufacturers and distributors
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Event Coordination experience/skills
- The following schedule availability:
-- Sundays 12pm-6pm
-- Mondays 6pm-11pm
-- Thursdays 4:30pm-12:30am
-- Fridays 2pm-8pm
-- Saturdays 10am-8pm

Help Us Expand the Loft!

Clockwork Games & Events is committed to being the best possible place to play tabletop games in the Brazos Valley and strives to ensure that our space is able to meet the demands of our playerbase. With a boom in local wargaming over the last several years, it has become necessary for us to undertake a pretty significant renovation: expanding our upstairs loft!

But we can’t do it alone: we need your help.

As you can imagine, tackling a project of this scale is quite the undertaking for a small local business, and your generosity could make a huge difference in improving the quality-of-life for tabletop gaming across all genres. From wargames to RPGs to TCG pods, the renovated loft will accomodate it all.

Our goals:
- A full ten tables for larger events and more free play space
- Completed renovations of the paint, carpet, and other necessary fixes
- Better side tables for holding minis/dice/bags
- More terrain for standardized tournament tables
- Lockers/cubbies to store personal items
- Anything else we can accomplish!

A link to our donation page can be found on the main page of the Clockwork Website in the header under Help Us Renovate the Loft or by scrolling down to the wargaming section. The main page donation link will allow you to donate a custom amount up to whatever you choose, whereas clicking the link in the header will take you to a product on a website with set donation amounts. Everyone who donates $100+ will have their name included on a plaque affixed to the wall upstairs, with the top two donators and one chosen at random being immortalized in portrait form on the back wall!
