As a note, there was a slight miscommunication--docs were dated for the close date, however as WA is an escrow state, we needed them to be prepared a few days in advance, so we had to move the close date to accommodate. Fortunately, all parties were flexible so it wasn't an issue.

I know that getting a loan rarely is beneficial to the buyer. Fees and expenses are always uncomfortable.
