There was a great crowd at Metcalf Park baseball field in Fountain, CO for Field of Drinks Beer Festival on June 29. Congratulations to member Reservoir Brewing in Pueblo West for winning the People's Choice Award!
Many of the Fountain Creek Brewshedยฎ Alliance members participated. It was hot but the beers, wines, hard ciders and seltzers were cold! Special thanks to Peaks N Pines Brewery - Fountain for event organizing and having so many dedicated volunteers.
Upward Bound summer participants at Pueblo Community College learned about the watershed, from Pueblo Outreach Coordinator Susan, and how citizens can reduce non-point source pollution to creeks, ponds, rivers, and streams. The high school group interacted with the tabletop model and then found a storm drain on campus to apply education stickers. Now students, faculty, and neighbors will know that "Only rain should go down the drain!"

The hot ๐ weather in Pueblo on June 20 did not deter a large crowd at Walter's Brewery & Taproom who enjoyed a cool โ๏ธ presentation by the local NWS Warning Coordinator for a Liquid Lecture.
Klint Skelly of the had awesome slides and videos to explain phenomena in Colorado and how our geography dictates highs, lows, storms and wind.
