🍃🍁Green is turning into gold this week and the next several weeks will be spectacular for Fall Portraits in Colorado Springs. Snag a spot on my calendar. Dates marked with an X are booked. The best light is around 4-5PM. Early morning options are also available.

Eli was a burst of positivity (and color) and a real pleasure to meet. He’s an up and coming artist and is thrilled to jump both feet in following his passion. I look forward to seeing him featured on the cover a magazine we where shooting this for.

My daughter McKayla made the green knit hat. She's going to be so happy it made it's appearance in it's first portrait. Welcome to the world baby Dakota. Isn't she the snuggley-ist!

Last few shares from my daughter’s senior portraits. She has been in front of my camera her whole life, and follows pose direction effortlessly. I had every intention of spending as much time as she wanted on this milestone portrait - expected 2 hours and maybe multiple sessions. Nope. Just 30mins and then we were off to get pizza.

The day has finally arrived. My daughter is a Senior. It’s gonna be a wild year.

The Verbeek Family traveled to CO from their home in The Netherlands. They scheduled a portrait session during their visit and decided on a classic COS backdrop - the spectacular Garden of the Gods.

These are some sweet memories for sure.

Sweet Baby Harper Turned One!

Photographing cats is WAY harder than photographing dogs. All the cat parents out there are like DUH.

We definitely got some sweet portraits, but encouraging Moon to be comfortable at the studio was a challenge.

Lesson: Photograph cats in the home environment where they feel safe.

It was so cool to be there capturing Ryan’s marriage proposal to Ashlynn this past weekend. They are the sweetest!

I mentioned I was heading to the studio for cat portraits and Kayla insisted on being my assistant. She was a huge help and fell in love with Ms. Moon!

Who’s interested in Destination Portraits in Breckenridge this July? I was finishing up some edits on our 2023 family album just now and came across this location I discovered last year on a day trip with my girls to the mountains. It’s pretty incredible and an OUTSTANDING portrait location.

Destination portraits are premium priced and come with additional session time and limited bookings - usually only 2 or 3 availabilities.

I seriously get to meet the BEST families in this community.

More parents are choosing to keep their children’s faces off social media, and I will always respect their decisions, so I have not been able to post everything happening at the studio.

But with permission, and a little blur in photoshop, I really wanted to share a few additions to the newborn props and outfits. I look forward to using the white bed for all the first year milestones. Lots of options there!

Benny turned FIVE! He’s got some cool, cute, even Prince Charming sides to him.

These cuties kept me moving! They have beautiful open spaces at their home, and portrait day was not going to stop the adventure 😜
