Robinson Nature Center exhibits, trails and outdoor play area open early. Enjoy self-paced activities including sensory bins and pathways, scavenger hunts, crafts, or planetarium movies. Do you have a student with an IEP or IFSP starting in a HCPSS preschool this fall? Are they new to riding the bus? Please join us for a practice bus ride. Your child will have an opportunity to get on the bus, get strapped in a 5-point harness, and go for a ride around the Cedar Lane campus. The bus driver will be able to answer general questions regarding bus safety. Early Intervention staff will be onsite to assist you. There may be a short wait for a ride depending on the number of participants, please plan accordingly. Reminder, this is the Cedar Lane campus in Fulton, not the Old Cedar Lane/County Diagnostic Center in Columbia. We encourage families to take photos during this event! Pictures will also be taken by HCPSS staff at the event. If you do not want your child's picture taken by HCPSS staff, please request an opt-out form from a staff member at the event. Email [email protected] with questions.
No registration is required. If your child is sensitive to noise feel free to bring headphones, the running busses can be loud for some children. This event will take place rain or shine. Sponsored by HCPSS.
