I've been getting questions about ChatGPT... The important thing to keep in mind is that you get back what you put in. The more information it has, the better output you'll get (where are my teachers?! They know this - you must train the robots)...
Here's the 5-prompt series I use with ChatGPT so that it doesn't give me back relevant, detailed, ideas for niches I may not be as versed in.

The ChatGPT Prompts You Need for Content Creation (no, the robots are not out to get you) — Robin Anderson | social media strategist The ChatGPT Prompts You Need for Content Creation (no, the robots are not out to get you) Robin Anderson, social media strategist & content creator| Social Media for Creatives Nonprofits and Small Businesses coaching strategy & management | Free up time for work that matters
March on, ye social warriors.
Here's fifteen fresh ideas to keep you present on your social feeds this month. Use them for your creative work, your powerful businesses, or yourself.
If you use these ideas, tag me in your posts so I can cheerlead! 📣
News flash 🗞️ it might not be your content!
I've audited a lot of profiles lately and seen some posts that straight up qualify as art. Gorgeous hooks, calls to actions, and information, alllll of that. But when I click through to their profile, it's kind of like going on a scavenger hunt to figure out what they're about, and to be honest, it kind of bums me out. Why would someone go beyond liking a post and say, follow your account, or even buy from you if they have to look for the sign in the window?
Your channels and all their components (bio, links, hashtags etc) are like your storefront - make them welcoming, or they'll pass over your profile for someone else doing the same, but who makes it easier on their audience.
Optimizing your Instagram profile doesn't have to be hard, and some small tweaks can make the difference between your content being seen or buried.
Here's 35 short strategies for how to do this on Instagram. Save and tweak it like it's hot.
Your content trampoline is here.
There’s no need for blank page anxiety when it comes to talking about yourself online. I LOVE looking at others content and ideating how to make it relevant to my audience, with my own salty hero’s spin.
After 8 months of providing ideas in simple monthly content calendars, I’ve assembled them into A no-repeats list. Here they are! Get them as a downloadable spreadsheet with suggested formats (reel, post, photo, graphic, etc).

It's Feb-YOU-ary! Here's how to talk about yourself, your business, or your organization this month on your social media channels.
Remember, it's a shortish month, so give what you got, and let go of the rest.
Happy social media-ing!
I’ll just leave this here…
And no, it’s not for those that are unable to make their own choices for other reasons but certainly a reminder for those that can, and something for many who may not be sure to ponder.

Feel burnt out on social media? The real reason is not what you think.
It actually has more to do with your intent, goals, expectations, outcomes, and realities.
Posting consistently on social media does not mean you will go viral.
Posting great content does not mean it will be seen or resonate with the right people.
I hunkered down on this frigid day and came up with a framework to help you find your way out of social media burnout.
Where do you see yourself in this flow? Who are you creating content for - yourself, others, or both? Does this chart bring you down or give you hope?
The real reason for social media burnout You’ve lost your way on social media. Here's a 3-question framework to help you find the fun and get back stop social media burnout.
Social media sucks! Time. If you let it.
let’s flip the script and put you back in control of your social media content. You decide how long you want to spend on social media and fit this flexible 10 step framework into that timeslot.
use it to get more done in less time on social media and move your creative needle without a team of marketers or expensive managers.

Now go move your needles people!!
How do you make time for social media, know when to pick up where you last left off, and still enjoy being creative?
It's not about "finding time." You make the time, and then fill it with needs to get done. Even if it's just 10 minutes a day.
I use this framework for myself and all my amazing, creative, mission-serving clients, and I put it all in a juicy google doc...because that's what I had time for.
Read how:

Fonts don’t come first. I’m a teacher, and this is how I see it: To be successful on social media, Develop your message and who needs to hear it. Hint: your message is you, and what you have to offer (and your offers).
Surface level branding like fonts and colors come last. Notice this post isn’t “aesthetic.” I’ve used my blue brand color, but the core of the message speaks. It doesn’t matter if I have a seggsy post with beautiful aesthetics, because my people will get it and don’t need curated to be seen and heard.
Does this resonate? Where are you in your social media hierarchy? What needs are we neglecting that need a little more nurturing?
Is blogging dead? Not if you have something worth listening to [and you are doing something worth listening to].

I went into my creative hovel mode through giving season and over the holidays, read a sh*tload of books, and here's what I learned:
Musicians, artists, creatives, arts nonprofits, and small businesses doing their own everything are missing something super important about getting their message heard (whether that's on social media or IRL). Why? because you're doing a lot of hard work in the trenches and who has time to figure it out? Who has time and resources to sit down and actually look at why your social media efforts are not paying off, or why your beautiful brochure attracted crickets, or why your amazing show had ten people attend?
Part of this is mindset. Your work is worth doing regardless, and you should do it whether anyone's listening or not. But if you want to get people to listen and show up for you, you need to understand how messaging, engagement, and marketing work in tandem, and what steps you can do on your own on social media to move your efforts forward so the world can see what you're doing.
You deserve to be seen, too.
I unpack this in my blog.
Here’s what you’re getting wrong about your social media strategy: how to ACTUALLY improve engagement I’m going to cut through the marketing bull #*$ and deliver you some hard truths. This is not going to be some gimmicky checklist of top-level vagueness. If you’d rather keep on with what you know, or have someone else do it for you, you can stop here. If you’re here to understand why your soci...
Go sing your songs at a cool place!
Add valuable noise. Those with value will find you. What social media strategies are you using to amplify your creative mission while blocking out the sh*ttiness 😂 😭 ?
I use engagement as a time to laser-focus on my target audience and not get bogged down by the billions of sometimes awful, sometimes hilarious, sometimes hilariously awful content out there. It takes me 10 minutes a day and brings in clients, revenue, new friends that have ended up being my closest confidants IRL, and more.
We're showing up in 2024! Get your content moving on your social feeds with these 15 post ideas. Get busy, get creating, stay present, stay social.

Confession time: I thank Chat GPT regularly because being kind has always paid off and I will not have the matrix implanted in my brainhole when the robots take over. But honestly, if you haven't looked at or use analytics to your advantage, what are you even doing? Work that information. Then thank it, then thank me. You're welcome 😆🤖
You know what's fun? Getting involved in these little influencer bubbles where you all support one another and help each other out. Over time, this could look like:
Adding a collaborator to a post
Tagging an influencer in a caption or comment
Sharing a post with a figure in your field via DM
Checking out and maybe even purchasing some of your influencer's offerings, then posting about it and tagging them
While paid influencer marketing is a different animal, these are just some of the more organic collaborations that could happen. You never know where they might lead!
Ding d**g merrily on high, ye social savants. Here's a content calendar for December! This month is all about reflection, celebrating, and goal setting on your social channels. Remember to make room to engage regularly and take some time off for R&R, planning, and refilling the creative wells.

Story time! I took an arts marketing class before online learning was cool or necessary, and will never forget a case study where we learned IN SCARY DETAIL the depth of the market of Adele listeners. Get this: They are 22-40, female, work in a health field, drink bottled water, and own multiple pets, usually small to medium sized dogs. Can you describe your target market with this same level of insane detail? Are you creating content for them at least some of the time? [also, you are not your market. Repeat to self].
Spoiler alert: the tortoise won. Be the tortoise. Follow along while I beat some hares.

For me, this was when I saw a pinterest infographic charting the difference between "baby blues," "postpartum depression" and "postpartum psychosis." I couldn't tell you today who made it, I just know it changed things and I'll never forget it. That was when the power of social media really began to sink in for me.
