🏖️ As we say goodbye to summer, we wanted to share some of our team members’ most cherished moments from the season. Here’s a glimpse into what made this summer special for us: slowing down with family, exploring new places, relaxing by the beach, lake, mountains and pool.

☀️What was your favorite moment of summer 2024?

✨SMILE TRANSFORMATION
When we met this patient earlier this year, we had a long discussion about his front teeth. They had been heavily restored due to previous trauma and we knew they were not going to last much longer. We unfortunately don’t have 🔮 crystal balls in our office so only time would tell how long his existing teeth would last.
⏩ Fast forward to a Memorial Day weekend meal and an ear of corn on the cob that quickly took our treatment plan off of the backburner. The 3 affected teeth had to be extracted and a 6 unit bridge was fabricated to replace those teeth and give him a much better esthetic outcome. We delivered his final prosthesis last week and were all thrilled with the final result! 🤩

We’re kicking off August with a beautiful celebration for one of our favorite, and very deserving people! HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY Jennifer! We’re wishing you all the birthday treats and Milly 🐶 kisses this weekend.

We’re thankful for our favorite smile beautifying, oral health providing, team morale boosting, balloon surprising, all-around incredible dentist, friend, and super-mom, Dr. Mallory McCoy. We ❤️ you!

We’d also like to introduce you to Dr. Martin Zerener. He is the newest addition to Indigo Dentistry and we are thrilled to have him on the team!

We’re wrapping up Children’s Dental Health Month and celebrating Toothfairy Day with some of our practice’s adorable kiddos and their tooth fairy donations!

To keep your child’s smile bright and healthy, follow these dental tips:

1️⃣ Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
2️⃣ Floss daily to remove food particles and plaque.
3️⃣ Limit sugary snacks and drinks to protect teeth from decay.
4️⃣ Schedule regular dental cleanings and exams
5️⃣ Encourage drinking water after meals to rinse away food debris.
6️⃣ Lead by example - show your kids that oral health is important by taking care of your own teeth too!

We’re a couple of weeks into 2024 - how are your resolutions holding up? Check out the things we’d like to stay, and the things we’d like to go away this year.

New Year, New You!

This patient came to us wanting nothing more than to smile more confidently. She was well aware of the different issues going on in her mouth, but like a lot of our patients, wanted to start with her front teeth. With 6 crowns, we were able to address the decay and alignment of her teeth, giving her a beautiful, straight smile she could feel confident in. We can’t wait to see her again to take care of all of the other things on her treatment plan to give her not only a beautiful smile, but a healthy one as well.
