Q: What would your second career be if you couldn't be a dentist?
A: Probably a teacher; I taught a little bit in grad school and really enjoyed it. 📚

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being a dentist?
A: I like the individuality aspect of dentistry, being able to create unique solutions for each patient. 🦷

Q: Cats or dogs?
A: Dogs, but I have made friends with a couple of select cats. 🐶

Dr. Kardohely settled in Charleston, SC, with his wife, Caitlin, who is also a dentist at Family Dental Health. They enjoy the vibrant city life of Charleston, exploring new culinary experiences and discovering nature. Their love for animals is reflected in their pet, a mini bernedoodle named Clementine, who is a cherished member of their household.

Last Saturday, we partnered with Project Hope Foundation, Inc. for our annual Day of Hope, which provides dental services to individuals with autism in Upstate, SC. 🧩

Going to the dentist can be stressful and scary, and this distress is often amplified for children and adults with autism. With the help of Project Hope, our team works to create a comfortable environment that will lessen these stressors.

Q: What's your go-to karaoke song? I don't really sing karaoke, but if I did, it would have to be something country. It channels my inner twang and southern charm. 🎶

Q: What's your idea of a perfect vacation? I have two. My dream vacation destination is Italy. I hope to go there soon. My ideal relaxation vacation is camping at the lake. Completely disconnect and unwind. I do that best when camping. 🏕️

In 2009, Dr. Calcutt met his wife, Tanya, and they were married in January 2012. Together, they have 3 children (Chase, Mattie, and Parker) and 6 dogs. So, I guess it is safe to say that Dr. Calcutt is a dog guy! 🐶 In his free time, Dr. Calcutt loves to attend Clemson sporting events, play golf, work in the yard, and camp at the lake.

Founded in 1991, Generations Group is committed to the prevention of sexual abuse by providing best practices in the assessment and treatment of at-risk youth and their families. Through their various programs, they provide a home-like environment that's highly structured and staff-secured, as well as a therapeutic environment that promotes and rewards positive change and treats every boy with care and respect. To date, Generations has helped over 1,000 troubled boys transform their lives, with an incredible success rate of around 98%.

A fellow FDHer shares, "Ginger has taken on the quarterback position as well as maintaining her relationship with our patients. She sends cards when there is a need, such as to patients' families if there is a death or for a patient who has been sick or in hospital. If she knows a need, the patient gets a card to let them know we are praying for them. She also incorporated a prayer box for the front office so that we can pray for our patients and families during morning huddle time. She goes above and beyond to let patients and staff know that she is praying daily, all while taking daily new duties on like a champ."
