The FCA Back-2-School Bash is going on from 9:00-Noon at the Adair County High School Football Field. Local churches are giving away free personal care and household items. There are bounce houses set up, a cotton candy machine, snow cone machine, and free drinks as well.

The FCA (Fellowship Of Christian Athletes) will be hosting a Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 from 9:00 am – Noon.

The event will be held on the Adair County High School football field.

The ACHS FCA along with local churches will be sponsoring bounce houses, games, and giveaways of personal care and household items for any family in need.


This event is for all K-12 Adair County students.

The FCA Back-2-School Bash is tomorrow (Saturday) from 9:00 am - noon at the ACHS Football Field. PLEASE, let anyone who is in need of personal care and household items know about this event as some local churches will be giving away personal care and household items to any K-12 family in need. These giveaway items include shampoo, conditioners, body washes, laundry detergents, toothpastes, mouthwashes, deodorants, and more. Also, there will be some school supplies available as well for pick up. Lastly, there will be bounce houses for kids to play in as well as snow cones, cotton candy, and drinks that will be given away to anyone who would like a refreshment. Thank you to all those who are participating to make this event a success.

Adair County Schools will have a follow-up athletic interest meeting for the following sports: Archery, Bass Fishing, Cross Country, Esports and Soccer. The meeting will be held on Monday, June 7th, at 6:00 p.m. in the ACHS Cafeteria (526 Indian Drive, Columbia KY). All interested athletes and parents are urged to attend. Last Friday was the last day ever for our seniors at ACHS. Before they walked across the stage that night, some seniors gathered together this past Friday morning to watch the sunrise once last time as an ACHS student. That morning, FCA had the privilege of giving a devotional as the sun came up on their final day at ACHS. Thank you to Adam Shepard for leading the devotional, the seniors for getting up early and making another memory, and for the senior sponsors putting this together.
