Our interns are wrapping up their hands-on experience after a summer learning about . More than 75 students from colleges across the country joined the company in areas like information technology, human resources, marketing, and accounting. Company leaders discussed their roles and careers with BlueCross during events. The interns volunteered at Harvest Hope Food Bank and hosted games for local seniors with Senior Resources Inc. Congratulations to Meredith Manning, who recently retired as Assistant Vice President and Sr. Deputy General Counsel with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, on being named a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of South Carolina - Mountains to Midlands . Meredith practiced law in South Carolina for more than 30 years, spending 20 of them at BlueCross. She dedicated many years serving on community boards and volunteer organizations, including the Girl Scouts. Meredith graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia and later the University of South Carolina School Of Law.
