Luci’s last day in the office is June 27th! She will be starting Logan University in the fall to become a chiropractor and we cannot wait to cheer her on!

Our goal is to relieve spinal pressure that your baby may put on your spine and to prepare the lower body for birth. Here’s how it works: When pregnant, your body generates hormones called relaxin. The job of the relaxin is to force the pelvis area ligaments to relax and to widen the cervix so you’re prepared for a safe and smooth delivery. However, the hormones can have another effect: They can make you feel more clumsy, almost as if you may trip over your own limbs. When this is combined with a rapidly growing belly, it can put considerable pressure on your spine. Chiropractic care is the ideal way to relieve this spinal pressure, and it will help move the lower body into the ideal state of alignment as birth approaches.

We will do this by using adjustments similar to those used at other times. However, a pregnant woman may be positioned differently during adjustments to accommodate her growing belly. For example, during pregnancy you can lay comfortably on your side for alignments and still receive relieving results.

Since the birthing process is tough on both mom and baby we will take care of you during postpartum stages as well with the option to also have your baby taken care of too.

The same can be said about your body! 🤓When you take the time to be active, your body returns the favor and continues to function so that you can stay that way! Symptoms associated with TMDJ include: Chronic jaw pain, Difficulty chewing, Pain when opening or closing jaw, Aching around the ear, “Locking” of the jaw.

Fortunately, living with TMJD does not have to be permanent. Chiropractic care has been proven to provide pain relief as a result of temporomandibular joint dysfunction by alleviating the pressure placed on the spinal nerves. Tyler's last day in the office is Thursday, April 4th.
