Animal Emergency Clinic of Maury County, LLC
Nights, Holidays, WeekendsThere when you need us! Compassionate veterinary care nights, weekends and holidays.
We are the only veterinary hospital in Maury County to offer overnight active care for your pet. We don't turn the lights off and go home at night, we work all night to make sure your pet gets the best treatment!
Due to staffing shortages we will be closing at 6pm Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th. We appreciate your understanding.
As of 7 o’clock this morning, Monday the 17th, the only person able to make it to work is a receptionist. So if you have an appointment today we can go ahead and reschedule that for you. We will try to reach out to you so that everybody doesn’t have to call at once. If any of the other staff is able to make it in we will post that information right away.
We intend on opening Monday the 17th. However I would expect that we will be short staffed and that services may be limited. If you have an appointment and will not be coming, please do not call right at 7am as we will be overwhelmed. We will get to you once we are available. If you do chose to come in please be patient. We will likely be understaffed and it will take us longer than usual to get to you.
Due to the weather we are forced to be closed today, January 16th. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and hope to be back tomorrow if the weather allows.
As always, our plan is always to be there for you. However, with the uncertainty around Sunday’s forecast it is hard to know what to expect. If the staff feels that they can safely get to and from work tomorrow then we will be open. Please check this page before you call for updates. We also ask that anything that is not a true emergency wait until next week so that our staff doesn’t get overwhelmed while we are short workers who can not get out in the bad weather. Thank you for your patience through all this.
Unfortunately due to the weather we will have to stay closed for today (Friday January 7th). We plan to open tomorrow but that will also depend on the weather. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital should be able to see urgent cases 615-333-1212.
Due to staffing shortages we will closing at 5 pm today. If you have an appointment after then please call (we are currently trying to call you as well) so we can reschedule. We hope to be open regular hours tomorrow as long as it is safe for everyone to get here.
Most of the staff is currently unavailable to come in so we will likely be limited in what we can do for you today. If you have an appointment today please wait until after 8 am to call us as the limited staff and early call volume will make it impossible to get to everyone first thing in the morning. Thank you and please stay safe out there.
These are our holiday hours for 2021.
Starting this weekend, we will be open 8:00-4:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The last patient will be brought into the building at 4:00 each day. We are still curbside so call when you arrive. We are excited to be back open 7 days a week to help take care of your pets needs!
We are aware that there is a problem with our phones. We have been in contact with our provider and they are aware that the problem is on their end. We are still working and able to help you but we do not know when the phones will be turned back on. We appreciate your patience with this issue that is out of our hands.
For the next few weeks we will be closing at 6pm on Mondays (last patient accepted will be 5pm). We appreciate your patience while we work to serve you better.
Due to a staffing shortage we will be CLOSED Sunday September 19th and will be closing EARLY Monday September 20th at 6pm. If you have an emergency during that time please call Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Franklin at 615-333-1212. We are sorry for this inconvenience and are working as hard as possible to restore our normal hours.
We are here for all your pet's needs!
Happy Friday from Harley! We will resume regular office hours (7:00am-12:00am) on Saturday 2/20/21.
We are planning on being open tomorrow Friday 2/18/21 from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
We are open today February 17 until at least 3 pm. We are going to try and stay open until 6 weather permitting but if you have an issue it would be best to get here before 3pm.
We will have enough staff to be open 8am-6pm on Wednesday February 17th. Please call first so we can be prepared but we will be there for you!
We will be here until at least noon. After that we will make a judgement based on the conditions.
The current plan is to be open 7am-6pm on Tuesday February 16th. Please call before you arrive to make sure we will be there as this is subject to change with the weather and staff availability.
If you had an appointment Monday or Tuesday and it was cancelled or you couldn’t make it, we will reschedule you with priority and make sure you don’t have to wait too long for a new one.
Unfortunately most of the staff is unable to make it to the clinic today so we will have to remain closed. I do have a skeleton staff until about noon if you have a true emergency but we will not be hospitalizing any patients. We are very sorry about this and please be safe.
Due to inclement weather we will be closing at 8 PM tonight. We plan on being open tomorrow but you should call first to make sure. If you have any problems tonight the closest emergency facility is Blue Pearl in Franklin and they can be reached at 615-333-1212. Thank you for your understanding.
Even though we will see some bad weather we expect to be open, as usual. However, since bad weather in the South can be unpredictable you should always call first or check this page status just to be sure.
Also, sending us messages via Facebook is not a reliable way to reach us for emergencies. Please call if you have any questions 931-548-2523.
Thank you.
The reminder is going out early this year because we are so overwhelmed right now: your regular veterinarian will probably be closed from Christmas Eve until the following Monday. If your pet is on long-term medication, please make sure that you have enough to get you through this time. We are not allowed to dispense medications for a pet we haven’t seen and during that time the wait times to see us are going to be greatly extended.
If your pet is going to be boarding over the holidays please schedule to get those vaccines now. Many people will wait until the last minute and again that will extend the wait time for us to see patients.
It is not unusual during our busy times for the wait to exceed 1 to 2 hours. Getting these things done now may save you a significant amount of time later.
We are very thankful that our whole staff is back and healthy. That was priority one!
Now since everyone is healthy we will have our overnight people back on their regular schedule which means starting tonight we will have someone monitoring patients overnight again.
We are still doing curbside service.
Thank you to all of you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Please stay safe.
Starting Monday November 30 2020 we will no longer have someone in the hospital monitoring patients after Midnight. As of right now, we will still be open until Midnight but due to a shortage of workers we have decided to temporarily stop staffing the hospital overnight. We are sorry we have to do this but in order to continue to provide the best care we can, it has become necessary. If you feel you pet needs to be monitored overnight please call either Shoals Area Veterinary Emergency (256-740-4800) or Blue Pearl Pet Hospital at 615-333-1212.
Starting Thursday November 26, 2020 we will no longer allow clients in the hospital. Until we decide it is safe for our staff to have clients in the hospital, we will take your pet in the hospital, perform an exam and then call you with our plan and an estimate. If you are coming for routine care, please call the clinic ahead of time and we can email you any paperwork that might be needed in order to decrease your wait time and speed up your visit.
We understand that this is not going to be popular but we have no other choice. We have had 3 people come in the clinic this week, without a mask or any protection, and tell us they were positive for the virus. We have families that need us. All of our patients need us. If any more of the staff needs to take time off we will have to decrease our hours and the services we provide leaving patients with no one to help them. We feel the minor inconvenience we will all have to suffer will be worth it in order to serve our patients with the care and attention they deserve.
We apologize but as of Wednesday 6/24/2020 our x-ray machine has broken down. We expect a technician to be out first thing in the morning but until then we are not able to take any x-rays. If you feel your pet needs an x-ray, please call our sister clinic located in Spring Hill at (931) 626-3046. We hope to have this situation resolved as soon as possible.
We are open 7am until Midnight on Thanksgiving. Please let your friends know. We hear from so many people who tell us on Friday “our pet suffered all night because we didn’t know you were there”. Telling someone about us may save a life!
If your pet is on long term medications, now is the time to make sure you have enough for the holidays. Many other veterinarians will have shorter hours over the Thanksgiving break and we can not give out medications for pets that are not under our care with an exam.
Someone is going to other websites and changing our phone number. You can always reach us at 931-548-2523 if you need us. This is the correct number.
As of noon on Saturday, June 30, it appears that the phones and Internet are back up and running. We would like to thank all the men and women who are out there working today on the weekend to help solve this problem
As of Saturday June 30 at 10am our phones are down. We are still seeing patients but it looks like a Charter issue so we have no real idea when they will come back on. We will keep you updated as we get updates.
