The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for many small businesses, including Carolina Pet Resort. Travel has been limited due to fewer family gatherings and events being cancelled. And let’s be honest, money has been tight all around.
While business has been slow, especially during the past few months when infection levels have increased, we are still here with all our employees. We miss seeing all of our clients!
For the month of February we are offering 1/2 off Nail Trims (Reg. $10-$20). This way we can all benefit. Your dog/cat gets better feeling feet and we get to see your smiling faces! (New clients welcome as well)
Please call us to make an appointment to make sure one of our groomers are available.
*Offers cannot be used to reduce the cost of full grooming services

To do our best to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all Carolina Pet Resort employees were tested for the virus on May 14th. We are happy to report that all tests came back negative . In addition, Carolina Pet Resort has implemented the following procedures:
--Before every shift, employees will have their temperatures checked. Any employee with a reading of over 100 degrees will be sent home with pay until they are symptom free for 72 hours without taking a fever reducer.
--Before every shift, employees will be asked specific health questions related to the symptoms of COVID-19. If exhibiting any such symptoms, they will be asked to see a doctor.
--Common surfaces will be sanitized regularly.
--Employees will wash their hands and use hand sanitizers frequently.
--Employees will observe social distancing with our customers and other employees whenever possible.
If you let us know before you arrive, kennel employees will:
--Meet you at your vehicle to pick up or deliver your pet when you arrive at the kennel.
--Wear a face mask while you are in the building.
--Accommodate any other request to address concerns.
-
If you normally wear a face mask when you go out, please do so when you come to the kennel. It will help with our efforts to keep the facility virus-free.
Finally, to help with social distancing you might want to wait for the lobby to clear of other customers before entering.
As always, we are here to take care of the boarding and grooming needs for your pets.
We look forward to seeing you.
Thank you for your continued support.

-Be Safe
We here at Carolina Pet Resort want to make sure you’re aware of the extra precautions we’re taking – this is not only for the safety of your beloved family member but for our employees who love your pets as their own family.
We would like to share a few of the everyday precautions we take daily as well as the way we’re are going the extra mile during this unsettling time.
• We clean our facilities daily with hospital grade products that target towards the prevention of infectious diseases, virus and bacteria.
• You may also witness employees wearing gloves. This is for your protection as much as theirs.
• We are regularly disinfecting public spaces ( front desk, our computers, restrooms) and fixtures such as sinks, door handles, and railings.
• We also encourage cashless transactions, but we will still be accepting cash payments.
Pets and the Coronavirus:
There is currently no evidence that animals, including pets, can be infected with the coronavirus, and no evidence that animals can even spread the virus.
If pet owners are ever asked to self-quarantine or become ill due to the coronavirus, the shelter and CDC recommends:
• Maintain separation and avoid direct contact with pets and other animals, including petting, snuggling, being kissed or licked, and sharing food. Try to make alternative arrangements for someone to look after pets in case you become ill. Carolina Pet Resort is always here for you.
• If you must care for your pet or be around animals while you are sick, wash your hands before and after you interact with pets and wear a face mask.
Pet owners should always have a “pet preparedness plan” in case of emergencies: That includes:
• Make sure you have enough food and product to care for pets’ needs.
• Identify a family member or friend who can care for pets if you or someone in your house becomes ill.
• Have crates, food and extra supplies on hand for quick movement of pets.
• Keep all animal vaccines up to date in the event boarding becomes necessary.
• Ensure all medications are documented with dosages and administering directions. Including the prescription from your veterinarian is also helpful.
• Have an identification collar for your pet: collar with ID tag and microchip
Hope this helps to ease any nervousness that our clients may be feeling and we just want to remind you that your pet is always our first priority.
Thanks,
Carolina Pet Resort
