It’s hard to believe that 19 years ago today I did my first wedding here in Columbia, South Carolina on the University of South Carolina Horseshoe.

An amazing couple by the name of Dana and Heath Roberts took a chance on me and launched me into my most wonderful life.

It was 102° when Dana walked down the aisle, but that was OK - I was hooked by the end of the day.

Thank you to all the couples and clients that have taken a chance on us and given us the opportunity to help them create the most wonderful memories and experiences.

And I’m not gonna lie, I’m looking forward to many,many, many more. 🫶🏻😉

Beautiful after summer wedding on the .at.arsenalhill Mall under the thick tree canopy 😉.

Soft neutrals under our sailcloth tent paired with classic elements set the scene.

florals were elegant and added the right amount of that organic element we needed to bring underneath.

Seated tables, soft seating, cocktail tables and seminar tables with barstools filled the footprint for guests 🥰

This gorgeous dinner on the front porch of the Lace House believe it or not was the “back up plan” for our couple’s wedding dinner.

We loved how this design played out with this intimate group as we dressed a family style table along the porch - beautiful champagne, gold, white and green palette worked beautifully on the historic home‘s porch.

Clear acrylic menus a top eucalyptus leaves on a glass charger gave a delicate appearance.

Fine white blooms nestled in to floating candle stemmed holders gave a great texture.

Lauren and Matthew came from Colorado to host their stunning wedding at

Dinner was served under the stunning oak trees, lending their boughs for café lights and loaded the tables up with candles and soft white blooms.

The bride created custom embroidered napkins for her guests to make our table so personal.

As we all settle in to the southern heat on the first day of summer I thought it would be nice to share some images from Ben and Eric’s wedding with some of the coolest vibes.

They selected most unique venue in the Georgia State Railroad Museum, so we got to create a really unique design, feeding off the industrial surroundings PLUS my guys were from New York City and loved mass transportation, so it was only fitting.

This is me, geologist turned wedding planner/designer… what - you didn’t know that?

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with an undergrad degree in geology, and I worked as a geologist here in the state of South Carolina for quite a few years before finding a passion I did not even know I had 🤷‍♀️.

I got into wedding planning when a group of women took a chance on me! But from the beginning, I put, literally, blood, sweat, and tears into my events - wanting to exceed their expectations.

I’ve been planning and designing events for nearly 20 years, I’m not sure where the time has gone, but it has been some of the best years of my life, creating for the most phenomenal people and working along some of the most talented creatives supported by the most wonderful husband, family and friends.

I’ve been described as many things including silly, sassy, sentimental, snarky, and straightforward…. and I will own all of these at some point because that’s just me.

I’m a champagne and martini drinking, fashion loving, disco dancing, equestrian 🐴.

There are many things I do love – but my heart is never more happy and full than when I am creating memorable experiences for those who give me the opportunity.

This amazing tabletop has such an eclectic fun vibe. We loved working with adding in such unique elements like our oil lamps and black tapers along side tropical leaves and citrus.

The hanging lanterns and black cut chargers made it so fabulous alongside amber glass vases and
crystal stems.

I cannot believe it’s been a year since this couple married – it was one of the most memorable weekends not only for their epic wedding, but for what mother nature threw our way.

It was Memorial Day weekend and it literally felt like March - on top of that we had close to 3 inches of rain and our wedding chapel flooded, but that did not stop us in anyway, as we pulled off a truly epic event with an amazing team.

This beautiful sweetheart table was nestled in the very center of friends and family for Brianne and Mark.

it allowed them to enjoy their first dinner as a married couple and have sweet private conversation while their friends and family were close by.

The table was romantic and elegant with colorful blooms and tapers.

We have had the wonderful privilege over the past few years of sharing these special moments in some young people’s lives – bar and bat mitzvahs are an amazing time and we are glad we can help them celebrate!
