Midlands Gives! Midlands Gives brings the region together as one community throughout the year, raising money and awareness for local nonprofits in 11 Midlands counties.

Midlands Gives is set for Tuesday, May 2 this year. We hope that all of our supporters will donate. Your donations continue to help improve the lives of the animals in our care and people in the community with pet(s) that need a little help. Helping people keep their pet(s) is a goal for us. Molly, our Betty White of cats fought her battle with bladder cancer until today. With heavy hearts we send her off to the rainbow bridge. Run free, smell the flowers and take lots of naps, sweet Molly. ❤️

Happy Thanksgiving

A big shout out to Darlene and Charlene for coming out today and washing dogs. We thank you.

A couple months ago we noticed a lump on Emmy and took her to the vet. Fast growing cancer that was attached to her spine and back leg and surgery was not an option for her. We brought her back and lavished her with love, gave her anything she wanted. Food and cheese being her favorite several times a day. Whatever Emmy wanted... Her tumor grew as we knew it would and she declined yesterday and we knew it was her time. Emmy will forever be in our hearts 💗

Long, but bare with me... A couple weeks ago our sweet boy Grover slipped a disc which lead to an MRI and it was bad... In pieces... If he was to ever walk again, he had to have surgery. His surgery went well and he is on a road to recovery. Lots of physical therapy, lots of love and a new home to boot. Yep, Grover was adopted by the surgical nurse who assisted in his surgery and then opened up her heart and home for him. We are beyond thrilled for Grover. His vet bill is....well, alot to put it mildly and if you would like to help us recover you can donate at patterpets.org and click on our donate button. We appreciate your support.
