This 951B Dozer was STUCK!

Roughly 1 mile from the nearest hard surface road and surrounded by trees and water, simply getting out to the machine was challenge number one.

With the 22,000lb machine unable to start, and buried deep in the mud, we initially estimated it would need about 50,000 lbs of force to recover.

After hours of carefully placed rigging and TEN lines of cable, this took over 65,000 lbs of pulling force to come free!

PSA for all those waking up to ice. Lean forward when walking on ice. 97% of falls are backwards. When driving and trying to stop, put your car in neutral. When light breaking pressure is applied the drive wheels will continue to turn. Also, when you lock up your front wheels, you have zero ability to turn.

-You will be at our shop 5 nights per week, overnight, answering any phone calls that come in and performing tow calls and service calls.
-Overnights are typically slow. There will be some nights where you don't have any calls. Some cleaning, and light mechanical tasks may be required on during your shift.
-Our shop is heated in the winter, cooled in the summer. With a nice drivers room to relax in between calls. The drivers room is complete with refrigerator, microwave, TV and computer.

Quality Towing was honored and humbled to be asked to lead the tow trucks in the funeral precession of Wade Bivins.

Wade was a Tow Truck Operator for Paw Paw Towing LLC, a firefighter, a father and a grandfather among many other things.

Last Wednesday morning, Wade was tragically struck and killed on the side of the interstate while simply performing his duties.

Towing company's from around the region, up to 5 hours away came together to pay their respects and show their overwhelming support. When it comes to Towing, we are all a family, and have each other's backs no matter what.

Let this serve as a reminder that when you see flashing lights on the side of the road, whether it's police, fire, ambulance, tow trucks, or even a family with a flat tire... PLEASE
