A little rain isn't keeping the fans away from the Missouri State High School Activities Association Show-Me Bowl! The 8-man champs were crowned last night and there will be three action-packed games played at Memorial Stadium today. Welcome to all student-athletes, coaches and fans! Have a great time in CoMo!

The holiday floodgates are set to burst this week! Shelter Insurance will be hosting their annual Holiday Tree lighting tomorrow night from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at their home office - 1851 W Broadway. Stop by to enjoy holiday music, coffee, kettle corn, games, horse drawn carriage rides, and more! The tree will light up around 6:00 p.m.

The holiday season in CoMo officially kicks off this week with TWO big events! First we have the annual Magic Tree Festival in the Village of Cherry Hill this Thursday complete activities for all ages and food/drink vendors (lighting at 5:30 p.m.)! Then we have Living Windows in The District where visitors can enjoy live performances, open houses, shopping, beautiful decor, horse drawn carriage rides, and more at participating businesses throughout downtown!

The Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission are excited to welcome the competitors and spectators in town for the Missouri State High School Activities Association Cross Country State Championships this weekend! For the fifth year, the event will take place tomorrow and Saturday at CoMo's world-class Gans Creek Cross Country Course, which is operated by Columbia Parks and Recreation . We hope everyone has a wonderful time in town and best of luck to all the runners!
