𝑩𝑼𝑹𝑮𝑼𝑵𝑫𝒀 𝑨𝑳𝑬𝑹𝑻: The 2020 vintage of this delicious currently sells for $34.25. However, the 2021 vintage will sell for well over $40+ a bottle. I've ordered all I could of the 2020 vintage in order to keep the price reasonable for my clients.

This is a fabulous entry level Burgundy from a reliable producer that you don't want to snooze on. If you're a come grab a couple of bottles before the price increases dramatically. This wine would make a fantastic 🎁!

Wine of the Week: A 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑮𝒖𝒚 𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆 + 𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒌
Domaine Rene Lequin-Colin Chardonnay "Les Grands Terroirs" 2021. Never thought I'd find a solid for under $30.00 a bottle....but this is it!! Stop in and grab a bottle for dinner tonight!

This is the only wine in the Lequin-Colin collection that isn’t 100% barrel fermented. It is 50% in tank and 50% in barrel. The fruit comes from two sites in Santenay: “Lavau” near the village, and “Corpeau”, located just below the village of Puligny-Montrachet.

Big + Bold: We've added a second to our collection. Both are approachable, full-bodied wines you can pair with a steak or traditional Italian dishes. Try them both side to side to determine which is your favorite.

An Italian to sip solo or enjoy with food. Aromas of white flowers, apples and citrus fruits with a taste that's fresh and dry, but soft, with good persistence.

Levantine de Musar Bekaa Valley Lebanon 2021 $40.25
A blend of 55% Cinsault, 35% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from Lebanon. Elegant and vibrant displaying red fruit aromas, smooth tannins, and a nice acidity that gives freshness to this young wine.

Lapostolle, Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon Apalta 2021 $35.20
This is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot and pairs nicely with anything you are grilling. James Suckling scored this 94 Points saying, "An elegant and pretty complex expression with an array of red and black cherries, grilled spices, tapenade and roasted red pepper."

On the left, the Weszeli Grüner Veltliner, , Kamptal, Austria 2022 ($24.75). Grüner Veltliner is the signature grape of Austria and produces a dry white wine with savory aromas, spicy flavors, and good acidity. This wine offers one of the greatest values in the world, combining sophistication and immediacy for an impressive, mineral-driven stunner.

On the right, Piero Busso Barbaresco "Mondino" 2019 ($53). A big + bold from the Piedmont region of Italy that elegantly marries its deep, complex red fruit with airy, lithe spice notes — the best of all worlds. One of our favorites for early drinking. Aromas of red cherries, roses, plums, light licorice, baking spices. Smooth and silky, fine-grained tannins.

A truly delightful Chenin Blanc whose name is a play on the french term "Attention Chien Mechant", which means "Beware of the Dog". This crisp, clean and aromatic wine is a Wine Guy Top Pick. Stop in and grab a bottle for dinner!

Tasting Notes:
Hints of lime, pear, and honey are the initial aromas that unveil themselves in Nicolas Réau Attention Chenin Méchant 2022. Overall, it is a sharply defined, mineral-rich, and strikingly vertical wine, astonishing primarily for its vivacity. On the palate, one also discerns its citrus notes, accompanied by an iodine hint. It concludes with an extensive, floral finish.
