Hope Christian Academy is a school for Special needs students from second to twelfth grade.
Week 40 Update: We are so grateful for the Lord's blessings and protection over another school year! We hope all of our staff, students, and friends have a wonderful summer break. See you in the fall!
Week 39 Update: We went on one more field trip to round out the school year! Thank you to Fox Hideaway Farm for having us; we had a wonderful time! π₯π΄π
Week 38: Almost to the end of the school year but the learning doesn't stop at HCA! Phonics is fun when you make it a game! Elementary learned to play "Blah, Blah, Blah" this week.
Week 37: This was a busy week!
We want to thank each of you who donated or came to the auction! You made the HCA 2024 a success!
At the end of this week our students enjoyed fun at GCS' Field Day!
TONIGHT is the auction! Here is the beautiful pottery set we will be live auctioning at the end of tonight's program. Each of our students hand-painted one of these cups!

Week 35 Update: This week, our students went to The Mad Platter, where they worked hard painting pottery for our upcoming fundraiser!
Please join us at our silent auction on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:00pm! Admission is free and we will have light refreshments!
Week 34 Update: This week in biology, we made a model of a fish's swim bladder. Also, several of our students participated in the GCS Spring Concert. It was a wonderful concert!
Week 33 Update:
We are so thankful for the friendships that our students are building with each other. They help each other grow! This week Landon brought his pet leopard gecko "Dart" to school to show his HCA friends! Thank you, Landon!
We are also thankful for friends in our community who enrich our students' lives with their talents and visits! This week we had special guests, Steve and Judy Bland, join us in music class. Thank you for coming!
Week 32 Update: What an exciting week! 4 of our students found out that they would be starting a new journey as employees at Bitty & Beau's. Congratulations! We are so proud of you, James, Chase, Heath, and Anna! We loved celebrating with you at the Apron Ceremony!

Week 31 Update: This week, the Hope students made beautiful placemats for a women's prison ministry. What a wonderful way to share the hope and love of Christ! π

Week 29 Update: πΆThis week was all about Fine Arts! Several of our Hope students participated in the State competition for the SC Association of Christian Schools. They did a fantastic job and had a wonderful experience.
Week 28: This week, we drew self-portraits in art! Also, our alumnus Andrew created some hand-drawn artwork for our silent auction! Make sure you mark your calendars for May 7th so that you can come bid on Andrew's artwork and many other fabulous items!
Week 27 Update: It has been a busy week at Hope! From class to Fine Arts competition and chapel, the fun and learning never stop!
Week 26 Update: This was an exciting week for several of our students. Chase & Annika participated in ASVAB testing this week -- we are so proud of their preparation and perseverance through something new and challenging! Josiah & Audrey got to go on an exciting field trip with their GCS 5th-grade classmates to the Battle of Aiken!
Week 25 Update: π£This week we want to announce the dates for this year's HCA Silent Auction! Please mark your calendars, tell your friends, and plan to join us on May 7!

A sweet mid-week throwback to last month when we classified plants with Sharmaine (a 2019 HCA graduate)! It was so wonderful to see her! Thank you for spending your day with us, Sharmaine!
Week 24 Update: We had a wonderful time at Ben Lippen's performance of Little Women the Musical! Thank you, cast and crew, for such an incredible show! πΆ

Week 23 Update: This week we celebrated theπ―th day of school! It has been 100 days of fun and 100 days of learning! The pictures this week are a good representation of what goes on at HCA!

Week 21 Update, Part 2! Today, Anna, Annika, Aubrey, and Chase attended the Quilts of Valor ceremony where they honored two veterans. πΊπΈ
