I think attending the SKUNKFEST yesterday counts as my most unusual/unique appearance YET! I learned SO MUCH!!! Did you know skunks are omnivores and are better mousers than cats. While a farmer's friend they are a beekeeper's nightmare, eating bees right out the hive and not caring about being stung in the process (YIKES!) Skunk oil historically was used by Native Americans as a liniment and a great cough/asthmatic remedy (no thank you. LOL) and they come in a variety of colors (brown, champagne, black, lavender, apricot, and even mahogany and even different patterns. Skunks symbolize protection and balance. Ok, so the question of the day did I touch a skunk- UMM NOPE!!! I LOVE learning though!
Had the pleasure of enjoying a beautiful afternoon yesterday attending CHALKFEST held in University Circle at the Museum of Art! People are so talented!

I learned TRUE sisterhood. These young girls and women are my SISTERS! We laugh, cry and have fun together! We hold each other accountable and we cheer each other on. We are FAMILY! Helpfulness and Encouragement are other things that were the highlight of the weekend. It feels so good to be able to support one another! Unity; we are MORE THAN JUST!
