Blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery that can improve the appearance of your upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both, and can rejuvenate the appearance of the area around your eyes by. What are the post operative restrictions after a mommy makeover?

🌟plan to take 1-2 weeks off of work.

🌟no heavy lifting, pushing or pulling for 6 weeks after surgery.

🌟unable to submerge incisions under water for 6 weeks after surgery.

🌟You will be required to wear a compression garment for 3-6 weeks after surgery.

⭐️No driving while taking pain medications. For tummy tuck patients, no driving for 1 week after surgery.

✨What should I expect after my breast augmentation surgery?
💥Following the post-operative instructions is absolutely vital for the success of your surgery. These instructions include ensuring that your surgical incisions are not subjected to excessive force, abrasion or motion during your recovery. Dr. Angela will instruct you regarding the proper care of the surgical site, the use of medications to aid healing and reduce the potential for infections and your overall follow up care.

✨What does the recovery timeline for a breast augmentation look like?

💥2-3 days after surgery: Patients will experience slight swellings.
💥10-21 days after surgery: patients are usually permitted to begin low-impact lower body physical activity. Patients are still advised against upper body resistance exercises any any straining over 10 pounds.
💥3-4 weeks after surgery: pain and swelling have likely subsided. Patients can begin to participate in higher impact exercises.
💥6 weeks after surgery: the implants have likely dropped from their initial position and developed a more natural shape.
