A quick hit of Wednesday Wisdom🎶
Paint colors, checking that whole palate to make sure it looks good, but also? Feels good. There is nothing like the sunshine to check it out... and some pups by your side to help. Am I right
When it comes to creating a one-of-a-kind space, it’s all about the details. I love layering textures and colors to bring depth and personality into a room. From plush fabrics to bold prints and warm wood tones, every element works together to tell a story. It’s not just about what looks good — it’s about how a space feels. 🌿
What’s your favorite way to add texture and color to your home? Let’s chat!
It’s no secret—I love designing spaces that are truly one-of-a-kind. In fact, it’s probably the least-kept secret ever! 😉 One of the ways I make that happen? Unique and unexpected sourcing trips that always turn up something special. Here’s a peek at one of those trips, and yes... I definitely walked away with rugs. 🛍️✨
A bit of Wednesday Wisdom for the mid week 🎶
I have rarely struggled with is seeing a space as it can be. What my clients often struggle with is that exact thing. That's why every step of the process at DWDC is an important one.
There’s something so exciting about sharing those gorgeous 3D renderings! 😍 For our clients, this is the moment we share our vision of their space. It couldn't be more real than this. We share mood boards, flat lay's, product boards and then these. It really brings the space to life—seeing every detail come together before the final touches are made. These renderings give you a peek into what your finished space will look like, from the layout and furniture placement to textures and lighting.
At Dwell Well Design Co., 3D renderings are one of the final steps before we bring your dream home to reality. It’s the perfect way to visualize the end result and feel confident in every decision made. Our clients love this part of the process, and we do too—because this is where it all starts to click!

Sundays spent in nature always remind me of the beauty of bringing the outdoors in.
This serene hallway design was inspired by that same peaceful feeling—where natural elements come to life in the home. The textured wood accents and greenery create an organic vibe, while the oversized mirror not only reflects light but opens up the space, giving it an airy, expansive feel.
Design is all about those thoughtful touches that make a home feel grounded yet open, and this project was one of those moments where nature and style perfectly came together. ✨

Running a business and designing can be two very different skill sets. I found early on that I needed space to do the design and administrative portion of my business, and that is my home office.
The other part is the messy part, I needed space to spread out, to see everything in natural light, and to lay things together to see how they work. I drew a picture of what I wanted that space to be, and months later I stumbled into it. That is our studio, and I couldn't love both these spaces more.
Dwell Well was created and is run in these spaces, and it's so important to me that they reflect my, my outlook and what is inspiring.

In our email today we are sharing some of the exciting headlines we have been included in lately! We are also sharing more about our biggest event yet, "Home for the Holidays"!
Don't forget the kids rooms! They don't have to be filled with characters to be a great space for your little one. Give them some decisions, but also, make it a look that will last, and have fun!
Which kitchen would you whip up your next masterpiece in?
🔹 A: Sleek & Modern — clean lines, minimal chic, and that glossy finish. 😎
🔸 B: Rustic & Cozy — warm wood tones, vintage touches, and all the feels. 🍂
🔹 C: Bold & Colorful — pops of color, playful patterns, and personality for days! 🎨
Comment below with your choice! 👇 Let’s see which vibe is the crowd favorite!
Kitchen renovations- a dream, until the endless decisions start rolling in... This is where having a designer in your corner can make all the difference! We’re here to guide you through all the big (and little) decisions, ensuring your space feels cohesive, functional, and all about you.
Here’s just a glimpse of the choices you’ll face in a kitchen reno:
Cabinets: Style, material, finish, color
Countertops: Quartz, marble, granite, butcher block? What is the edge profile? Do we switch edge profiles on the island vs. the perimeter? Should we round the corners? If so, what radius should we round them? What tone or color should the counter be? Do we need to seal it? Can it be installed in time? How do we arrange delivery and install with the appliances? Which comes first? Why can't they install the day after cabinets are installed? Wait, who actually installs the cabinets? Do we need supports for the countertop? How tall are the supports? Will our legs hit them? Should we do bar height or counter height?
Backsplash: Tile shape, size, color, grout color
Lighting: Pendants, recessed, under-cabinet—task or ambient? All of them? What kind of bulbs? Do we need additional drivers to bring more voltage, cut the voltage? Any new circuits needed? How many circuits are left in the panel? Do we need a new panel? Half panel or full panel? Are we planning on more renovations in the next 5 years?
Appliances: Size, style, brand, finish (stainless or panel-ready?)
Flooring: Wood, tile, or LVP? What direction do we lay it? Should there be a pattern? Stagger? no Stagger?
Color: how much? how little? What color(s)? Textures? What material is the backsplash? What finish should the paint be? Should we wallpaper? Fully? An accent wall? Should we DIY that?
Hardware: K***s, pulls, finishes? Do we match each? Do we mix it up? How many types of hardware is too many? Too few?
There aren't enough characters to keep going! Feeling overwhelmed yet? 😅 Let us take the weight off your shoulders and make the process smooth, efficient, and dare we say… fun.
It's all in the details.
When you are building though.. you have EVERY opportunity to create custom, one of a kind moments that don't have to cost more. This space is such a great example of that. We are doing some really terrific functional things in this kitchenette... but the star of the show? Well it'll be where the upper cabinets would have been... if there wasn't a designer (me, hey! It was me! :) ) to look again.
✨ October Spotlight: Countertops! ✨
This month, we’re all about countertops! Whether you’re planning a kitchen refresh or a full remodel, the right countertop can transform your space. From natural stones to tried-and-true classics, here’s a breakdown of some of the most popular options:
🪨 “Fancy Stone” (Marble, Dolomite, Quartzite)
Pros: These stones are the epitome of elegance and luxury! Marble offers timeless beauty, dolomite gives a softer look while maintaining durability, and quartzite delivers incredible strength with a unique natural pattern.
Cons: Natural stone requires a little more TLC. Marble, for instance, can stain and scratch more easily, while all stones need periodic sealing to maintain their beauty and longevity.
🧱 Granite
Pros: Durable and resilient, granite is the go-to for homeowners looking for long-lasting countertops. It’s heat and scratch-resistant, and comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns.
Cons: It can be porous and may need occasional sealing, but overall, it’s a fantastic balance between style and functionality.
🛠️ Quartz
Pros: Engineered for durability, quartz offers a non-porous, low-maintenance surface that’s highly resistant to stains and scratches. Plus, you get a consistent look across your countertop!
Cons: Quartz doesn’t handle heat as well as natural stone, so you’ll need to be mindful of hot pots and pans.
What would you choose? Anyone done a renovation and would choose differently now?
Let’s create something beautiful together this October! 🖤
