Val’s designs celebrate the voices + strength of womxn. We are honored to carry Sugar Camp goods in the shop aaand ..it’s a sweet coincidence that Val and I spent years living only a mile apart as kids in Dayton, and only just met recently at the shop here in Columbus. The serendipity🥺💘 We have four colors/two styles of Sugar Camp bandanas available now in the shop and online!

Things that happened in 2021: 🌵 I expanded The Brass Hand from an insta account to a studio at @700bryden where I hosted private shopping 🌵 Sold my home in Bexley 🌵 Bought a one-of-a-kind midcentury home on a ravine in Worthington - The Brass House 🌵 Sourced and drove dozens of large specimen cacti + vintage directly from Arizona across the country back to Ohio 🌵 Hosted a market at The Brass House called SOL614 where almost 1,000 folks showed up to shop🤯 🌵 Launched the official The Brass Hand rebranding with @cocoabijou.art 🌵 Did 10 markets throughout the spring and summer 🌵 Landed a coveted brick and mortar location on the best block in Clintonville 🌵 Designed the brick and mortar with @swoonrugs + @lagomloftdesign + @ryanlydon + @planthropy 🌵 Finished construction on the shop with @dirtpoorindustries + @andreanavar4 + @mercad_oh + @ryanlydon + @grcooper 🌵 Hired the most amazing operations partner in the universe @i.am.a._ghost 🌵 We hired a badass team @audroetter + @gabbidarfus + @_stephanie_amber_ 🌵 Launched private plant potting events in the shop 🌵 Hosted our first workshop in the shop with @marysbathbombs 🌵 Represented and supported 20+ local makers and curators in the shop 🌵 Launched an online shop 🌵 Had an incredibly successful first holiday season 🤯WHEW DOGGIE!!!!🤯 ♥️ Special shout out to my partner and the person that keeps my head glued on @nparry 💓⚡️ And friends whose support never ends: @threebitesbakery @matchmakersstudioshop @mercad_oh @marlala.a @ollie_p8 @tuttlealexis @abolition_pony @lunatierra2017 ••• I AM SO GRATEFUL MY HEAD COULD EXPLODE. 💓 Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart and happy f**kin new year!!!
