Today 15 years ago Loxx Salon opened! I started by myself and have grown from renting a building to renovating and owning our own. And we have grown to a total of 6 amazing stylists! This last year has been the most challenging of the 15 years, but the stylists have worked very hard to keep things clean and safe for our clients and I couldn’t be more proud of the way we all pulled together. We are looking forward to a new year and would like to thank all of our loyal clients for all of your support. We couldn’t have made it to 15 years without you! Sandi

We are thrilled to announce that Tammy Keller is joining the Loxx Salon family! She brings with her 26 years of experience and knowledge in the salon industry. She will be joining Sandi, Denise, Lisa, Dani and Jenny on June 30th. To make an appointment with Tammy call 402-564-5699.

A huge thank you to all of our loyal clients who have stuck by us thru this crazy pandemic! It is not enjoyable for any of us but we do still have to abide by the mask law. The salon DHM didn’t change much. We can allow more clients in the salon at one time (at a distance) so you no longer have to wait to come in. We are just happy to be able to be open and want to provide a safe and sanitary salon experience for you. The health of our clients is our top priority. We appreciate you!!!

We would like to thank all of our loyal clients for supporting us through this unprecedented time! All of the stylist are working very hard to get their clients “pandemic shutdown” hair done. We are strictly following all of the mandates the Health department requires to ensure your safety. The latest DHM is through June 30th. You will not see a person in our salon without a mask!! Not only is it a law(due to not being able to distance) but you can rest assured that we are doing everything to protect you and our community at Loxx Salon! We will get through this! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

With the rising numbers of positive Covid -19 cases in Platte county I have made the difficult decision to not return to work until the original date of May 15th. I do not have all of the supplies needed (According to the DHM released for salons today) to feel confident in keeping myself and my clients safe and healthy. I will be contacting all of my clients to schedule for after the 15th. This is each stylists own personal choice whether or not they are confident in reopening. So please contact your stylist to see what date they will be prepared to reopen. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. I appreciate each and every one of my clients and your health and safety is very important to me. I can not wait to see each and every one of you!!

This mandated salon shutdown is so hard on us. We love our clients and would love to be making you all look your best right now. That being said this shutdown is not by choice it has a purpose. To keep us, our families, our clients and our community safe. That being said, please do not ask your stylist if she can do your hair at her or your home. First, it is against our license regulations and we are legally only allowed to do hair in a licensed salon or a mortuary. So if someone is doing that they are risking losing their license. Second, that is not following the mandate put in place for everyone’s protection. On another note... we can not mix up color and give it to you. Part of our license is to use and be trained on using stronger chemicals than you can get if you are not licensed. That being said you could get burns, over process your hair, or have a reaction to the chemical. If that were to occur our insurance company would not back us. And once again we could lose our license. So as much as we would love to help you, we take our profession and license seriously. Losing our livelihood is hard enough on us, so please do not put us in the awkward position of having to say No. Stay well and we can’t wait to see you all after the quarantine!

Due to the mandated salon closure for Platte county Loxx Salon will be closed until May 15th. Please reach out to your stylist (or your stylist may reach out to you) to schedule an appointment after that date. We will miss all of you and look forward to seeing you again in May. Please stay safe and well!

Get your professional hair products now so that you are prepared while home. Please support your small salons and not big retail chains where there is no guarantee your products are not counterfeit or expired.

If your stylist decides that it is best for her personal and the communities safety to no longer work, please understand that the stylists in our salon will not take other salons or other stylists clients for an appointment. We respect our profession and will not undercut or take any one else’s clients. This is a hard time for us all. And we hope that you will respect your stylists decision. We love our clients and always welcome new ones. Just not at the expense of hurting one of our fellow stylists. So please, when this pandemic is over visit your stylist for a service! We will all be ready for a little pampering when this crazy, life changing event is over!!!! Be well!!!

We are limiting the number of people allowed in the salon to one client per stylist. The only exception is a small child that requires a parent.

If you feel Ill, or have ANY symptoms of illness please reschedule by phone. We are doing our best to maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the salon and are following the rules set forth by the state of Nebraska during this unfortunate event.

If you have traveled out of the state recently please refrain from entering the salon and reschedule by phone.

You may be asked to leave the salon at any time, so please don't be offended if asked.

We do reserve the right to refuse service, so please do your part to slow/stop the spread of this virus.

Went down the hair care aisle at Walmart for the first time in about 17 years. The "professional" products caught my eye so I thought I would check it out... First of all let me say that they are priced about the same as what we have at Loxx Salon. They might be a dollar or two less. Second, they are not the same packaging!!! They are clearly knockoffs! No where on our products does it say Danger! The packaging is very similar but trust me these are not the same thing! The only way you are guaranteed that it is professional is to buy from a professional! Don't waste your money for convenience! Our suppliers have very tight buying rules to guarantee that you are getting what you pay for. Take the time to stop by a salon to buy your products! We sell them because we believe in them and they work to make the styles we create look fabulous!
