All Southwestern Recovery facilities will be closed tomorrow so that our staff can enjoy time with their families. All facilities will be open Friday by appointment only.

The staff at Southwestern had an amazing team spirit week. Rocking the beginning of the week with favorite band shirt, followed by crazy hat day, battling the field midweek with team jersey day, western day and finally wrapping up the week with PJ day.

We appreciate all the hard work our employees do everyday! Thank you for all you do for the communities we serve!

There will be a huge event in The Plains, this Friday from 12-3pm, in the parking lot behind McDonalds. This event will have community resources from the medical, housing, addiction and mental health treatment, education and employment fields.

There will be free food, entertainment for the kids and door prizes throughout the day.

If you or someone you know, is struggling with addiction, mental health, grief disorders, homelessness or are in need of employment, education or food this event is for you.

Save the date! Be sure to come out and see all the wonderful resources available in and to our community. October 20th, 12-3pm.

It’s that time of year again! Join NAMI Athens for our 22nd annual Walk the Walk for Mental Health Awareness on October 14th at the Athens County Courthouse. We will rally at 11 AM & proudly walk Court St and down to the Bingham House for light refreshments in order to raise awareness & reduce stigma for those struggling with mental health conditions & their families.
