👋 Get to know the stylist behind Hello Sunshine Hair

Hey there! Today I wanted to share a few things about who I am outside of the salon. Maybe we have some interests in common!

🏡 HOMETOWN– I live in and love my hometown in nearby Pataskala. My husband, Chad and I enjoy grabbing ice cream at our locally owned Dairy Hut and taking a walk around town in the evenings.

🌎 TRAVEL– I love taking cruises. It’s a great way to visit several places at a time without the multiple packing/unpacking and travel arrangements.
My favorite things to do is try local food and hiking. On our most recent trip through Norway we hiked 55 miles over 5 days! 🥾

🌮 COOKING– I enjoy being home in the evenings to cook with my husband.
We are usually making tacos, chili and lotsa pasta!

📖 READING– let’s just say I decorate with books! My coffee table and end tables are stacked with books. I love visiting independent bookstores.
I mainly go for psychological thrillers, beachy family sagas, Hallmark-y romances and entrepreneur autobiographies.

📺 FAV TV– If the tv is on, it’s usually on the Hallmark channel or Game Show Network. But, I can’t miss a Bachelor/Bachelorette season! I’ve been a shameless fan since day one.
On our Netflix we are currently watching Better Call Saul. We have the final season of Manifest to watch and I am itching for the finale of The Crown to come out.

🧘🏻‍♀️ PERSONALITY– In my truest self I am an introvert even though I have a highly social profession.
Being an independent hairstylist in an individual suite setting has worked well for both me and my clients, though. It’s easy to become over stimulated in a bustling salon environment. I hope my salon brings a calming, restorative energy in the midst of a loud, busy week.

I enjoy connecting with my clients over our common interests but I also love hearing about new things I haven’t tried! It’s an awesome way to expand my knowledge and get me thinking outside of my box. And, sometimes opposites attract the best!
